If no escort is available, you may be asked to return the costume to your hotel room or car, or remove and safely carry the portions of your costume causing concern.

The truth of the matter is Anime fans are uncivil. They charge around from point A to B with no concern for anyone else around them. Often bending and breaking props or costume bits in their unseeing attempts to get somewhere.

Texting on their cell phones they will blithely force their way between handlers and their charges, separating both. I can see why AN staff recommend that handlers and performers hold hands, while in the convention center.

The sad part is AN also has the following rule.

Con goers may be asked to remove fetish costume elements such as chains or handcuffs because of safety concerns for themselves and others.

This means ropes or leashes between handler and performer will not be allowed. It also forces a 1:1 ratio between Handlers and Performers.

About the only thing that can be done, is have belts around each performer, that the following performer can grab a hold of, when taking a group of performers through the indoor spaces.

I know of no performer who actually does a MILF character, as Animegao Kigurumi tends towards the "Cute".

I suppose that you could order a generic bodysuit in flesh color say 4x or 5x in size, then use the various boob / cleavage methods.

Yes I am an ambassador for Anime Kigurumi. I speak about it and my experiences often.

I run Animegao gatherings at events where Kigu get the chance to meet and interact with not just convention attendees, but the general public. Feedback from those event coordinators has always been positive.

I have introduced several 'curious' to the performing art of Animegao Kigurumi. giving them a taste of the Kig experience without the financial investment. For some, I have made them their first mask. For others I have repaired masks which were broken in use.

I have performed at Anime North for the last eight years, acclimating the crowds to the hobby, I have been inviting and persuading other Kigu to attend AN for the last seven years. Look how far my work has gone.

Anime North Programming has been after me and my group, to hold a kigurumi panel of some kind for the last four years. This year I had the panelists available to actually do a proper job. Therefore, I accepted the invitation.

I have never claimed to be an "expert", nor that my way of doing the hobby is the best, or the only way. I am Canadian, so I have always been polite with my fellow performers.

So, if someone thinks I am Creepy and Gross, well, that's one person's opinion. Some still think Kigu are all from the bottom of the uncanny valley.

I don't suppose anybody has a copy of たけしのニッポンのミカタ！今夜は2時間SP！that aired on 2012/06/29? The copy I got off Youku isn;t the best and Pandora.tv's was taken down a long time ago. There's a copy of it on Clubbox, but when I tried to download it I ended up getting an error I couldn't read.
