Isn't the durability of youkai and specific youkai depending on who and what it is? No, from what I remember pretty much all youkai can endure more pain than a human.

The entire point of youkai is that their spiritual instead of physical. They're strong against sheer physical damage but are incredibly weak to spiritual damage. And humans are the opposite: weak to physical, strong against spiritual (throwing an ofuda onto a person does jack shit but it'll hurt a youkai)
