It's a shame some girls get so little art and stuff, I suppose it's inevitable with such a big cast though. It's a shame it hasn't taken off more with Non-H books although there are a few great ones I've read. I wish DMM would stop being so overzealous in restricting fangames and that although I guess it's to be expected, hopefully they'll stop after the Vita release or at least announce more games that are varied, I'd love a TRPG or something. After the anime I'm pretty worried to ask to see a lot more character development in the game but I enjoyed the few manga I've checked out so could be good I guess.

The post quality is complete trash and ripe with memetexting and insults, not that /jp/ is that much better anymore but slower posting and other factors make it a lot nicer of a place for discussion. From what I've noticed I don't really ever find the stuff elsewhere, if you're not hardcore following the threads I don't see how you would get most of it, how anyone can follow threads that die in under a day is beyond me. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places though.

Rather than not post the links, I meant more in the sense of not uploading them elsewhere. I guess I'm just used to stuff auto getting uploaded to Ex or somewhere and just taken that for granted. When I've asked I've usually been ignored, the threads move too fast for people to pay attention to the odd post after it's old. Constantly posting and demanding would feel rude, I guess it's mostly my own fault and I didn't mean it in a mean spirited way.

There's a big difference between "Spoonfeeding" and helping people out, it's only really spoonfeeding when the information itself is easy to find or source but the person can't be bothered. Besides the actual posting of secondary content or it's source helps stimulate discussion and furthers the threads away from inane blogposting and greentexting.

That one is quite true actually; the only translated stuff that's uploaded automatically is usually stuff that's translated from Japanese or Chinese doujinshi that's already uploaded to begin with, and even then it usually only applies for sadpanda. Or if it's typeset by Stalker then it either appears on his imgur or he uploads it to mediafire or something, but he's busy these days and only recently came back from a hiatus from the /a/ threads.

Most of the more recent stuff in /a/ was bought by /a/nons, scanned on their scanners and uploaded to the threads, and if they're translators they translate it on the spot (otherwise someone else translates it for them), then it's typeset right after, so there's not much of a need for them to upload it anywhere else to begin with.

Come to think of it, that might give the impression of /a/ not giving links. It's more like there's no place to link the doujin to in the first place.

Not really, we have a lot of people like that or worse; you'd just be another anon like that. Besides if they didn't pay attention to your posts they aren't likely to call you out for constantly demanding things.

Is what I've found so far for anyone else who cares, probably missing some stuff still, uploading to imgur was a "good" idea I guess. I never really considered something like that, nicer to use than the boorus for miniseries of stuff at any rate.

For a while it was all we had since the chinks refused to upload the nip raws after translating them. So now /a/nons just buy their own nip raws instead.

There's talk of using kuchikukan.net to centralise the info but the going's very slow and the wiki was pretty much ded for a long time because of a problem with the verification question (it's been fixed now). We could use more than a little help.
