Again, that's the wrong idea. I was on a community that used Megaupload almost exclusively for several years (out of convenience). When they went down, the place was devastated. A responsible community just cannot put all their files in one filehost.

The problem is that Akiba gets ad monies from their favored filehost and its staff and power users make a lot of money through referrals. So it's extremely corrupt.
The only wise move is to have a list of accepted filehosts. That way, leechers are able to get an entire movie in a few hours from several different links rather than wait 2 hours (or whatever) between each download from a single host. I mean, fuck, I hated Ryushare when I had to resort to it.

The problem I have is that all these filehosts are shitty pay for premium deals where you get download speeds of 50KB/s for a 100MB part of a 2GB video and there's a 2 hour wait time in between each file.
