Dear /jp/,

I'm new to collecting figures, and was looking for advice on cleaning and care of them. What should I clean them with? What sort of environment should I keep them in?

Pic related.

Hot resin works for me.

Just don't splooge on them for the love of god.

Glass cabinet with shelves. Place and forget.

Repaint when the paint rots away, simple as that.

What's with me giving common sense away like it's free fliers today?

Use the canned air they sell at computer store to remove light dust. For environment, put it in an enclosed cool environment away from the sun.

Did it ever occur to you just how pointless and futile fig collecting is?

Just throwing it out here.

Did it ever occur to you that a majority of the things /jp/ as a whole do on the Internet and specifically their board is pointless and futile?

Also throwing something out there as well.

>> No.1309123

It's not so hard.
Put them on display, glass cabinets would be preferable.
DON'T let it hit direct sunlight.
Paint will age, repaint when that happens or just let it yellow away.
Use duster to remove dust.
No hot gluing, despite what the internet has showed you.

Character: akita neru

亞北ネル in phonetic reading it sounds like “I’m tired. Gonna go to sleep.” (Ah, kita. Neru) She started out as a meme on 2chan, where a troll user started threadcrapping all Vocaloid related threads. Some user commented that he won’t get angry only if the troll was a cute girl. Thus Akita Neru, a tsundere non-Vocaloid net-chara was born. Her image color is orangish yellow and her character item is a cell phone. Unlike other Vocaloid characters, there is no specific artist credited for her design.

Neru is sometimes written as a Miku wannabe, others as the anti-hero of the Vocaloid personage. She mainly represents forum/bbs trolls, those who don’t have enough patience to use the Vocaloid software, or those who gave up using Vocaloid.

I have this strange urge to draw a picture of a broken down Miku, exactly in the style of Yumemi from Planetarian.

I don't know why
