Hmm, looks about ok. You're at the point where having force is important so push that to slightly above your stamina. Charisma 50 lets you have [R+, R+, UC++] which is a good team for where you are. [R, R, R] if you want to max out your Rs before evolving them - not so important as maxnig out their R+ for evolution, but if you really like a Valk, why not?

At level 51 I have 26 cha, 135 sta, 85 force, outside of the +30 from comrades.

If I had to change anything it'd be dropping sta by 20 or so for cha. 46 cost is enough for a loadout of three R's which will last you a while, but if you want to for example use a R+, it's 19 cost instead of 16. R++ is 23. If you want to use a SR, it's 32 for just a base.

You'll be using R's for a while though. As the other anon said you'll want to max them out, and SR's are pretty rare, I've only gotten two. But the further and higher level you get, the harder it'll be to get points to increase cha.

Once you can spawn Rank 8 bosses yourself. Then you get Rares to grind up. Preferably wait until you have two copies to make an R+ before grinding since the first Rares won't be as good as once you start mowing down Rank 9+ bosses.

Optionally, if you want some short-term firepower then pump up an Alchemist+ or 9-tail Fox+ - they also drop from rank 8 bosses.


Oh and once you get Continuous Login Proofs, exchange them for lottery gold and hit the item lottery. Repeat until you get a weapon from there. Any weapon. It makes a huge difference.

Ice killer maid is pretty strong, but I don't think you'll get copies of her for evolution. So it's not good to bother with her.

Quiet Knight Athena is pretty common once you unlock Earth Dragons, but is just an average card in terms of strength. In my opinion, you should just evolve her to R++ then level her up to have an Earth Beatstick.

If you don't have elemental dragons unlocked yet, I suggest you focus on levelling up some UC++s or C+s that will carry you through your dragon hunting until you get your Rs. You can ignore this suggestion if you rolled a strong weapon in item lottery, because in that case you can do whatever with your excess cards until you get better Rs.

An R++ will cost 23 cha. Plan on fitting one with the rest of your team when you start spawning Rank 8 dragons.

Round off sta to 90 and then pump into force. I'd recommend 70+ so you can hit your own Rank 8 dragon twice: once to call for help, once when your comrades have beaten it down to 1 HP. These two moments may be as short as 5 minutes apart depending on your comrade list.

It largely won't matter what you level in the earlygame provided you can hunt dragons. Turn the rank 8 R drops into R++ and pump them to have basic hitters. Consider pumping the rank 9 R drops (Luca, Olga) from R+ onwards as they have excellent initiative. Bear in mind later bosses have so much defence Valks do meaningless damage unless they crit (which ignores defence) or proc their skill.

Then again, Sandra isn't too far off after Olga and is better than her in every way so maybe hold off on Olga.

PvP is pretty much irrelevant anyway, once you get a bunch of high lvl comrades you won't run into not having mega bosses very often and the rewards from winning generally aren't worth it.

I know the feeling, but I've been burnt too many times now. Use force recovery jewel to help rush down a boss and then see it time out at 1 HP.

Now I go with the motto: "if you don't have active comrades who help you out in your active hours, you're not paying attention". It's the main skill required to play this game besides punctuality: comrade management. If you lose the trust of your comrades, you get new ones and try harder to not lose them.

physical damage can do more against people in matches since most of them stack magic resistance, and not many bosses are immune to physical damage - however the asklepios staff (top magic item) is stronger than the top physical item

Any enhancement increases its selling price by 5% of its base price.

Tiger-Dragon sword shows 33 crit on the character page, but on the wiki it's listed as 23 crit.

Hey guys...do you know how the elemental numbers break down into actual damage? Are they percentages when facing an enemy with that weakness? Ex: Would something like earth50 do an extra 50% of that cards attack power towards an enemy with water weakness?

Do you know how the balance distribution works? As if it is equally distributed (the chance of getting min%, max% and 0% is equal) or normal distribution (the chance of getting 0% is bigger than min and max damage) ? I didn´t quite understand it in the jap wiki.

Feel elated at getting 4 Rina cards, turn them into a 4S R++ Rina. Discover she can't catch up to no evo SR Kaede - ok she's about equal which means there's no point grinding her up to Kaede's level.

I look at Kaede on the Japanese wiki and find there's this "4M突破Lv80" (penetration) stat - Kaede's skill will go from 26k -> 46k. Only available for card lottery-only SR drops. Alt-versions of those characters don't have the penetration Lv80. I guess DMM know what they're doing: it's not just item lottery that have huge payoffs. Just that item lottery gives much quicker results. Would like confirmation from someone else who can read Japanese.

As an aside, noticed Teresa is a quest boss drop from 25~29. I've made a 2M R+ Teresa so far, looking forward to guaranteed R++ for Teresa.

Yes, until you're swimming in money and are looking to feed a near-max card more EXP. Then you may as well feed the Rs - similar value for Gila compared to Lv1 C fodder when each feed costs 1.8k+ Gila. Factor in you're probably getting those Rs from spending force, so they're extra fodder in addition to your stamina's income.

I highly doubt balance by itself applies a gaussian distribution. Such a thing is a natural phenomenon or occurs when multiple RNG variables impact a single output and would require more effort to code rather than applying a simple dice roll RNG for damage range.

But Rebecca has an higher initiative than Sharo (21% vs 32%), so she uses her skill more often. Also consider that Sharo has a very higher critical (20% vs 3%), so Sharo would ignore enemy armor more often and high armor is the reason skill power is better better for bosses.

If you're just starting out, this is definitely the team you want. Aside from the golden armor badass, the ninja, and the redheaded witch they are all very easy to get and will make 3 staring very easy.

Awakening is basically a second Class Up with an added bonus. You get an "Awakening Ability" passive. Awakening is also exclusive to Gold+ rarities. Which is why Silvers are pretty useless in the long run unless you min-cost them. You can use any Gold for almost exactly the same deploy cost, but way stronger.

(1) Im at 210 lottery miles....thanks to a night where I was determined to get a good set of armor, and ended up with 4 fucking honor brights instead.

Also...I filled up my comrade list as I've progressed, but have a good amount of inactives... I would love to switch a few out with some better players. I'm Lv 41, hit ~45-65 on dragons....and always finish my bosses if I ask for assistance.

OK here's the deal, I got an SR from lottery, since being a low level I am I can only use 1 SR and 1 UC (Let's forget Cs for now)

However, I got an R (Thankfully) which means I can use 2 Rs and 1 UC. Which set is better? Because it would take me 5 levels just to get enough charisma to use 1SR 1R 1UC. I'm actually planning to raise stam for the next levels so I can grind for cards to level the second set, or should I focus on charisma?

In battles, every turn each of your valkyries do 2 attacks and your MC 3 in random order. So if your SR is stronger than the 2 other R together you should keep the SR, else uses the 2xR until you evolve your charisma

I have so many fire Valks that want levelling. But Quest 1-4 gives me wind fodder too and I have no low-level wind Valks that I want to level. Maybe I should just get to Quest 21 to spawn my own dreadnoughts et al. Quest 19-1 is so depressing to go through though - cheap equipment only.

This is kinda time consuming to do, but you could always combine those wind fodder (+1xp) to each of your fire fodder (+2xp), so you'll end up feeding your fire valks level 2 fire fodders (+3xp).

The exp is the same as if you fed your valk both of those fodders, but the difference is that you don't end up costing twice as much gila.

There's not a heck of a lot that a translation will help with. Everything is straight forward with a number and a icon, and you can find out what skills or titles do with minimal effort.

From what I've seen, not much.

You get a crystal every time you 3 star a stage, one crystal can be used for a full restore of stamina or whatever the other one is called, three can be used for a gacha, five can be used for special gacha, and event cards are very easy to get. Last event you got her first battle, this event you can do the first battle which is very easy 50 times to get both cards, and you had like 15 days to do so.

Stamina recharges quickly, the other, let's just call it force, recharges 1 per hour. Aside from that there's just boosts you can buy that increase exp by 0.2, or gold by 0.5. You can also buy a increase to your starting points in battle by 5 if you're a casual. Aside from that the only thing I've really noticed is you can use crystals to get boosts in event maps, if you're a casual.

It does have this absurd difficulty ramping, but all that means is your units aren't high enough level.

It's harder for people with a full comrade list to send a request than someone filling up. Welcome aboard, sometimes I won't call on basic dragons and glimmers (because my force is needed elsewhere) but I'll try to spawn them when I can. Be quick though, it's not unusual for them to go down to 1 HP in 15 minutes. Sometimes, 5 minutes.

To be honest, I don't know what that stamina bar is for. Back when I was a beginner, I thought it was my HP bar. But it's not.

On the second screenshot, Idoneus depleted my stamina bar after his second attack. That means it was depleted after I attacked. This makes me think that the player can't be killed on the initial attack.

Maybe this stamina bar is an indicator of how well the player did in the fight?

Maybe just not enough damage was put onto the boss. I know I struggle to get enough people to kill any of the highest rank bosses, often leaving a good 20 to 30% when there's only 20 minutes left.

There's this one guy who will burst the boss for like 20% and then the rest of the damage comes so slowly, I often have to use a handful of force crystals just to kill it. Had to do an entire 29% on my boss earlier today when it had 10 minutes remaining.

I can hit for around 40k even on non elemental weakness bosses if skills activate so it's not too terrible but it's pretty fuckin painful to burn through so many force crystals but it's not like I'm going to use them for much else when one or two hits will register me as an assist.

As much as possible I try to assist in mega bosses to have around two 13-16k damage to keep up with everyone, but there are times I don't get any rewards even with min.damage from wiki. I guess reward drops is not 100% for support

It does, but it helps to make sure it adds up to a few thousand over the min damage. At least, that's my current theory. This basically means Glimmers are the upper limit for reasonable bosses to pick on until you get a proper weapon... or you grind up a really good Luca.

Looked at Japanese wiki for what future mega bosses are like. I knew some of them would be immune to physical or magic attacks but I did not expect immunity to specific elements. Not that this is an issue by that point in the game.

Kind of disturbing how many things will be vulnerable to Wind. Also, MFW Quest 33+ mega bosses drop Lv 25 Rs and Gold Bars+10 (yes you can't enchant them yourself) as consolation prizes for not getting SRs.

See my grind table linked in OP. That should give you an estimate of the costs. Factor in later levels being gained by feeding quality fodder, not Lv 1 Cs. Given I spread my grinding across various Valks, I don't know how long Marin in particular took. I've been playing this game for just over a month though, so that should give an idea.

I can definitely say, I should have done [1,1] and [1,1] when evolving to R+. Maxing out R+ before R++ was worth it. Hmm, Japanese wiki refers to this as "直前" but we don't have a convention here. I will henceforth call it 2S2M.

Anyway, aside from specific Rs (e.g. Luca and Sharo) it's not worth 4M grinding them. Raising Rs to 2S2M is much more economical (and easier on your Cha budget). I'm in the middle of raising some 2S2M SRs - not every SR is worth the 4M treatment.

SRs that are card lottery exclusive are generally way superior if I'm reading the Japanese wiki right (because they can 4M penetrate to Lv 80). Well, that's for the regular card lottery gachas, the event gacha SRs can't Lv 80 but still are vastly superior to run-of-the-mill SRs like Sandra.
