Writing usually takes a pretty big plunge in quality, characters acting completely different, nonsensical situations. But that's not the bad part.
Voice acting during sex scenes that doesn't immediately make me put the audio on mute and my finger on ctrl.

Really good story, preferably with no H at all.

I like the former for fapping, and I think the latter could do without the sex scenes at all.

I'm not going to play through games like Utawarerumono and Tsukihime just to finally get to some scene I can fap to. I would much rather play a game where I can fap when I want to if that's what I want to do. If I want a good game with story I'd rather play something like Planetarian or Ever17 where there's no sex at all.

Seconded like hell. I know people all say KID and Hirameki went under because there weren't any sex scenes in the game, but that says more about their audience than about their writing. Still, you have to sell your product, I suppose. I don't really mind the sex scenes in VNs, but I don't play stuff like Tsukihime to beat off. There are loads of completely sex-based h-games I can play for that.

Thinking about it, Bible Black is the only fappin game I can think of where I like the story as much as the porn.
