I'll upload a handful of comparisons between a normal Fumo, a bootleg, and a Nendoroid, mostly in response to >>12926945

The Nendoroid has the largest head of the three, but is probably made out of better material. It is also more firm, and has adjustable limbs, so I guess it is closer to a doll than a plush.

The Nendoroid and the Fumo both have actual ribbon in the hat, but the ribbon bunch on the Nendoroid is actually rooted to the hat, whereas the Fumo has a bit of the cloth attached and the rest tied up into a knot to organize it.

The ribbon on the back of the Nendoroid is shorter, and the wings are two separate pieces, as opposed to the Fumo wings which are a solid piece.

As for the bootleg..
The hat is actually attached to the head, so it's rather difficult to show the whole thing. There isn't an actual ribbon, but just red portions printed to look like one. The ribbon bunch is tied like the Fumo, but is lower quality material, like the rest of the bootleg.

Marisa is a big girl.

The hair on the bootleg isn't attached very well and bunches up strange when the hat is on. overall I would recommend avoiding it if possible, unless you simply don't have funds for the Nendoroid or the Fumo (good luck finding the latter though).

You're gonna either have to wait forever (no one honestly knows if the older fumos will ever be restocked on Ami Ami) or go the ebay (risky) route. Look for the more expensive, newer listed ones and, unfortunately, they're really gonna be expensive. Actual photos and personal/business information makes a big difference in telling if what they're selling is legit. There is never a 100% guarantee though, if that's a risk you're willing to take.

I bought the exact same bootleg Reimu a long time ago. Painted ribbon and tags from GIFT and stuff. Bought her for 50$ in a rather fancy shop selling all sort of weeb stuffs. The seller said she was the last one and the only Touhou plush in the shop and they had no plan to import any more of the kind because Touhou is not popular enough there. So, I was kinda in the "last sell" mood and bought it. I was new to this plush business back then.

Nendos are slightly larger, poseable, and always have a smiling face. Fumos are slightly smaller, always sitting down, and the different characters have different faces. Which one you like more is really just a matter of taste.

Fakes vary from really bad to just bad. It's easy to tell if you know what to look for (read the earlier posts starting at >>12929620 for an example) but can hard if you don't. If something is too low a price or being shipped from China, it's almost always a bootleg.
