I don't fear Nakata playing around with Capsules sound. Hell, with 15 albums under his belt I would even encourage it.

What I'm truly afraid of is the lazy merging of current popular sub genres (i.e: sweet refrain -dubstep. Or the possible forth coming Wave Runner LP, which I suspect may have a few to many euro trash/ibiza club anthems for my liking). Instead he should be encouraged to explore his own unique synth pop/bit pop sound we have all come to know and love.

Either way this is just my opinion and I can't honestly defend the man when I chortle somewhat when I read hackata type posts.

They're just like any other similar "band" in Japan. I don't see why Perfume would have some kind of special treatment giving them more control.

They don't write their own lyrics, they don't sing live, they don't create their choreography or Live staging. This is just pretty standard in this industry.

They're a product belonging to a company.

Don't get me wrong, I really love Perfume, but you'd have to be a fool to think that they have control over things. Look at how their image is so carefully controlled, how messaging around anything Perfume is so "tight", you can really see that it's all the work of PR/Marketing/Brand rather than their own. They don't really do anything spontaneously, always stick to their schedule etc. If they had control/freedom it wouldn't be this way.

It really gives the album a stronger feel than JPN or Level3 and puts it on par with GAME even though I think GAME has some better songs.

Nakano as well (3rd floor, there is JPOP dedicated store, next to the escalator which does 1F>3F). There was a lot of other Perfume books there too for really cheap, all PTA DVDs, merchandise from recent concerts, but I wasn't really interested. Could easily just buy these if I wanted too.

I just got the pajama and chopsticks from there, both are kind of old items.

I also went to Mandarake Ikebukuro (for the purple shirt) and Mandarake Shibuya (for the white one). I was really looking for signed CD/DVDs but couldn't find anything. These were the only two shirt they had at these location.

Mandarake Nakano had more shirt but they were all S or M sized and Japan Medium becomes way too small after being washed for me. So didn't buy any.

Mandarake Nakano has shirts, they're visible in the main alley. The best is just to ask the clerk. (That's what I did in the Ikebukuro one.) Sometime things aren't displayed and you have to ask. The staff is always super friendly and will do whatever they can to assist you.

The other Jpop store I went to next to the escalator had no shirt, only books/magazine/dvds/concert merch (and that pajama).

As for the used part, anything used in Japan is always in near mint condition yeah. Could it be CD/DVDs, books, clothing, phones, hardware etc. They know that there is a huge market for second hands good so it's in their best interest to keep everything in very good condition so they can easily sell it back. And well Japanese people are more careful with things as well I suppose.

I may have only been to one perfume concert but I can't imagine a better open to one of their concerts than enter the sphere.

I wish they'd release the Gurun edit of Party Maker. It's so much better than the original. Repetition is Nakata's biggest problem and that song is one of the worst examples of it. With the Gurun edit, they cut down the repetition and made something flows perfectly without feeling overlong.

update on the cracking of the drm. It didn't at all as planned, I tried burning it to a cd and then ripping it but that didn't work, I think it may be my computer but It could also be the file, I tried converting the file but during conversion it would freeze and never progress, I tried Drm ripping it but all the software to do this are outdated as all hell and require you to use windows media player, which this file isnt even comparable with. last attempt was to try and upload it to youtube as a private video and then download it but that was a stupid attempt as it got the same problem as converting, It fully uploaded and then froze at 95% processed. If the other guy could try the burn and rip method just to make sure it isn't a problem with my computer.

getting rid of drm is apparently much harder than it was in 2009.

not super confident about doing this but if push comes to shove I wasted 5 dollars.
