That it's acceptable for you to enjoy pedophilic pornography because it's okay in Japan.

Uhm...wow. Where do I even begin on this one? Well, I suppose I ought to begin by explaining to those of you out there who are confused as to why anyone would think pedophilia is acceptable just how these "lolicon" or "shotacon" otaku come to think that their sexual fixation on younger people is okay. You see, in public, Japan's a very repressed country. As soon as they get behind closed doors, however, the Japanese let out their tesions, feelings, and sexual frustrations in the form of all kinds of different fetishes. Some of these people are pedophiles. Pedophiles that are manga artists have created two types of pedophilic manga; "shotacon", which focuses on little boys, and "lolicon", which is about little girls.

Now, for some reason beyond the comprehension of normal folks such as you or I, there are some people who seem to think that if Japan does it, it must be completely acceptable for anyone to do. There are two parts to the otaku's argument that "lolicon" and "shotacon" are acceptable. First, that since Japanese culture is different from Western culture, and since pedophilia is more acceptable in Japan than here (supposedly), it is unfair to persecute people for their cultural differences. Secondly, that since these are drawings and not actual people, it is acceptable.
