Can someone edit the current cookie that can work on the R18 site? All I know is, you have to change the cookie's domain since it is dmm.com, which is for the main site while the R18 site used dmm.co.jp. I've already tried doing that but to no avail. This is the common result of 3-5 for me for example, I rarely see Tsu survive in one piece during day and pass CLT fun times 2/3 of time. So, got home and finally crafted my first AV (Chiyoda) and BB. In regards to Chiyoda, I understand there are upgrade paths to become a carrier, however it removes some of the versatility that she would already have.

I am sure I will get more ships sooner than later, but is there really any merit in having a AV instead of the carrier (I understand resupply can change?)

For an easy event 70k + 400 buckets is sufficient as long as the expedition fleets continue to operate.

For a difficult event, you are unlikely to clear anyway if you have burned more than 120k and 700 buckets without success.

Honestly, resource consumption is not as much as you think--your focus should be on buckets and equipment.

If you're lower-level, try aiming for only 50k + 300 buckets minimum. I crawled through last event on 40k and 244 buckets, plus quite a bit that I farmed while doing said events.

At low levels repair times aren't that high anyway, so try not to waste buckets. If you're at work, expeditions 9 and 13 guarantee at least one bucket and sometimes 2 while lasting some four hours.

50 or 70k is complete overkill. I full cleared the last 3 events with only about 30k resources and a couple hundred buckets. Midway's E-6 was the only thing that slowed me down and put me at double digit resources but I still managed to get in about 100 attempts on the final clear before I got it. If you're low enough level that you're not planning to clear the whole event I wouldn't worry too much about pooling resources beyond your natural regen cap.
