No, eromanga isn't great at all because manga is inferior to animation, which is inferior to a game, which is inferior to vr. There is nothing left to discuss.

I prefer eroge, though I suppose it comes down to personal preference.

-Not bound by magazine page limits
-Can establish context and characters better
-Physical and mental descriptions beyond just a few textboxes
-Art is on the whole more detailed, and is always color unlike eromanga
-Voices
-Choices let you have some degree of control over how the story develops and make you more invested and immersed (and are particularly beneficial in enhancing fetishes like NTR)

The only advantage manga has over eroge is that it has a lot more images, which is admittedly a pretty big advantage but isn't by itself enough to make eromanga better than eroge for me. If eroge had more pictures they'd be untouchable as fap material. Look at Yanzuma Koharu, which has almost as many images as manga and is god-tier fapping.

Also yeah, I like Eromanga the most, even though Eroge would win if the majority of them would be properly drawn and animated like this. The concept is better, it just lacks good specimen.

For me, and my purposes, I go for Eromanga or captioned CG sets. I like a good bit of visual stimulation, but at the same time VNs have a pacing issue. The scene isn't over until they say it's over, and wanting to progress more quickly just feels like rushing. Also most VNs are way too vanilla for me. It's either a good story and shit porn or good porn and a shit story with those. I have yet to find a VN that caters exclusively to my particular fetish (will shall not be named) though a lot of them do have a few token scenes or a character with it featured primarily in their route. But even then, VNs never do the fetish properly, and Eromanga are just now beginning to get it right, so there's that.

I just like how instant image files are with a decent image viewer. I have all my images tagged, so I can filter through them instantly, shuffle them, create pseudo-playlists, fill the screen with several windows each with some image, etc.
