After going back and relistening to Triangle/Game I have to say that their music has gone seriously downhill since 2009. Outside of a few gems like Fushizen na Girl, Spice, Nee and 575- JPN is complete horseshit and level 3 isn't much better with 3 fucking album mixes and a very forgettable 8 minute song that tried to be the new Edge. The best track from that era (Hurly Burly) isn't even on the album!


Nakata has either completely forgotten how to make electronic music that isnt just American top 100 Dancepop crap or he doesn't care anymore.

I have to ask myself what a new perfume fan would see in them starting with level3 or Sweet Refrain or Cling Cling since it feels so dull and forgettable.

Clockwork is good, 1mm and Koi wa kenkei shisei are good. Spring of Life was pretty forgettable outside of the great MV.

Coincidentally those retards are your average idol fans. They want to see success out of cute girls watching them grow from nothing to being successful, and the music is secondary to them.

What separates Perfume from idols for me is that they don't go out of their way to be idolized like other groups do. They stick their focus into being performers and stay with it. Fans idolizing them comes as a result of who they are, and not what they try to be.
Of course, Amuse sees money bags for the girls' heads and we get the products to compete in a market of products, instead of providing a service of entertainment like the girls would like.

If you still get stutter, do know that .ts files are usually the raw source of the video, so it can be at an unusually high bitrate, at 60 frames too. Some .ts files take a lot of power to run.

Laser Beam PV is how I get to know perfume. I am not too worry about the Xmas cake thing since most Japanese consider them as an artist now. A hint is that the Japanese do not have much intrest in any scandal or gossip about Perfume, unlike other idol or pop group. Age and look dont affect the popularity of an artist unit that much. The real sad thing is Perfume worked their asses off from Hiroshima Actors School all the way up until Polyrhythm JUST to get minor national recognition.

Perfume was the only group to make it out of the dozens of girls working with the Beehive label actually got a "major debut" which Amuse was going to drop them from after Linear Motor Girl/Computer City/Electro World either barely charted or never charted at all on the Oricon. These half assed clone groups aren't going to work for 7 years like Perfume did, they're going to split up in a year or two when they get no popularity.

I don't really think it would've lasted with Kawayuka since Nocchi was the most talented vocalist in her class and being in a more advanced class than Kashi/A-Chan/Kawa.
