I've included a picture an anon posted some time ago of a gokujo vs kiwami. They are somewhat similar in size, but with the upper thighs include din the kiwami it looks like it would be easier to grab and it also has wider hips in terms of the mold and makes it more appealing from behind. The Kiwami does indeed look more appealing from behind but I think that it's more visually appealing and not as physically appealing. The Gokujo looks more realistic in the fact that a better physical response is given. It is shown in the review of the Kiwami that the physical response isn't as appealing "the ass is flat".

My main concerns with picking a hip is also the material and the internal canal structure. Research indicates that the NPG material is softer and more realistic and that the Gokujo is the closest we can get to TOMAX like material on a hip. Wanted to reply to this from the old thread. I tried to replicate this a while back; Novint Falcon, polymorph/shapelock and duct tape to make a harness, tried a few holes. Only could get ones with plastic shell to hold on well, it's trickier to make something that keeps a grip on a soft hole.

On the software side I used the libnifalcon driver and modified one of the example projects to drive the position up and down in a sine wave with PID control + a constant force to compensate for the weight - with different settings you can make it more stiff or more springy. I set it up so I could control the speed and other parameters with an XB360 controller during the action. Took only quite basic knowledge of C++. I looked into hooking it to the animation cycle in some Illusion game but didn't manage to figure out how to do that. It could also probably be made to feel much better by someone who knew how to take into account the inertia of the mechanisms, etc. when calculating the forces to apply.
