Please someone help me understand why this is occurring. It just doesn't logically make sense. Why Mexico? Why not any actual places of interest and influence? It's a known fact that a shit ton of BRs are Perfume fans since they're the only other country that googles Perfume in the west then the quintessential two, or even some other western country that could be targeted to increase Perfume's popularity in the west, but Mexico has no leverage in how well artists do. When has Japan ever targeted Mexico as a business opportunity? Did the business geniuses at Amuse try to take the fact that the most successful Japanese artist ever to hit the west, Utada Hikaru, never tried for Mexico, so maybe if they try for Mexico they'll hit it big in some twisted form of elimination? I can see what she means if there's truth behind the lack of effort though. As much as I like them, her Nakata songs got very formulaic by the end of their stint together. The chord progressions were all very similar, the vocals were samey.

The girls (perfume) have really come into there own. I feel anyway. Mikiko has choreographed some true masterpieces. Imo...clockwork as a quick example.
