Drama pilot, maybe:

A depressed and overworked OL starts to have a recurring dream: in some indistinct and dimly-lit place, she meets a group of catwomen hanging out naked, smoking catnip, chatting, cuddling, and admiring and pleasuring each other.

The first night, they beg OL to strip and join them, promising to show her a good time. Though hesitant at first, she can't help appreciating their company. As the night goes on, she gradually becomes cat-OL, developing her own feline tics, eyes, fangs, ears, and tail; she is just beginning to notice these when she wakes up. While she wouldn't call that a nightmare, she's glad she doesn't have to go out in public like that.

Throughout the work day, OL notices a lady coworker whom she barely knows is looking at her regularly. Something about coworker interests OL too, but she can't put a finger on it. When they happen to leave work at the same time, they make some small talk and find themselves clicking already.

The second night, OL enters the dream room as cat-OL from the start, and one of the first to welcome her back is cat-coworker....

You have a well-developed line control, but make some terrible mistakes, leading me to believe you are not really erring, but rather rushing what could be a proper drawing.

For fuck's sake, look at that ear. After making your sketch's silhouette, try marking anatomy down with some building blocks, then you add the details.

This drawing is a drawing I sketched directly on the computer// the reason you don't see improvement in my drawings drawn on the computer is because i've only now got back into drawing on the computer. it's not like i've been regularly drawing on the computer because I haven't.
I used the same brush and it was a fast sketch that's why you think i'm stuck in the stone age.
I did this as an exercise of what I generally want to do with this picture.
I don't post my art I draw in pencil because i'm trying to get better at linearting on the computer before I post it.
The drawing I posted isn't a depiction to how I lineart- it's just my scribbly brush and method to take it easy and get a sketch down.

Stop fagging. Don't you use a mouse? It's the same principle and shouldn't raise any impairment.
The only quirk you can add is some textured brush to look like it was drawn by pencil.

And if you have Paint Tool SAI, you can test the stabilizer, I generally put a hint of it just so my strokes don't get all wobly due high tablet sensitivity.

Is there a decent guide how to create line art or inking out of a drawing before coloring?

Photoshop's pen tool doesn't look very appealing/convincing. It appears that SAI's brushes and pen tool gives more smoother lines (and colors).

Here's one I drew a few years ago to use as a testbed. It is bad, but that's not the point.

I'm saying a mouse and a tablet are similar. And everyone here is familiar with a mouse.

>>12618614
Pick SAI's pen, put your stabilizer between 15 and S-3 (depending on your need).
Make a shortcut for Undo that takes only one key, you'll be using it A LOT.
Be sure to get a somewhat thick line, so the pressure can also play a role.

You will do every stroke individually, but precisely. If you don't get it right, undo. Draw again. Sometimes a tricky curve may take you 10 attempts, don't give up.
Linearting is different from drawing, don't feel like you're cheating by rotating the canvas, undoing, zooming in/out. The sketch is a guideline, but the real position of the linework should be in your mind at the time you strike. You can even make a few corrections through this.

In my university I had classes on linearting for animation and it's all about conceiving the right shape. There are also some stuff on readability, but that's for when you're more advanced.

So I'm trying to get into audio recording and did this as a demo for something I had in mind. While this turned out okay, the intended metal-rendition failed, with the lack of software and hardware being partly to blame.
The disharmony on some parts is purposely done, the lack of rythm on some parts was entirely my fault.

Cheesy, really? There are a couple pop songs with a "andalusian cadence" (I had to look that one up) so I didn't think it'd be that bad.

As for the transition, you are referring to the last part of the slow half, right? I tried to keep it as simple as I could, but I guess it could stand to be a little more interesting...

It works given some circumstances, but not at the beginning of your song. Personally I would do it like this:
http://vocaroo.com/i/s00hPnB3KPWQ
It's a i - VI7 - VII - V7 - VI - IV7 - V7 progression.
The fast section is great, but I would change the Fmaj chord to a dm7 with F in the bass. That's just my opinion, so feel free to disagree with me

>As for the transition, you are referring to the last part of the slow half, right? I tried to keep it as simple as I could, but I guess it could stand to be a little more interesting...
I think it's too abrupt, but it doesn't necessarily means that it has to be long.

Even if we have writers, no group of skilled drawfags would willingly create a story for a random writer.
Because artists in general have their notions of how a story should be AND because with writing it's harder to argue about quality, and it would just become an ego dispute.

Also because it's harder to quickly spot quality in a written piece, ANYONE will give a try and make the process cumbersome. It's not like drawing, where a quick glance can automatically reprove 90% of the unskilled people.

Circles work because people trust each other's talent enough to do as they say and move the project forward.

GARY PROVOST ~ "The Writer's Writer"

This sentence has five words. Here are five more words. Five-word sentences are fine. But several together become monotonous. Listen to what is happening. The writing is getting boring. The sound of it drones. It's like a stuck record. The ear demands some variety. Now listen. I vary the sentence length, and I create music. Music. The writing sings. It has a pleasant rhythm, a lilt, a harmony. I use short sentences. And I use sentences of medium length. And sometimes when I am certain the reader is rested, I will engage him with a sentence of considerable length, a sentence that burns with energy and builds with all the impetus of a crescendo, the roll of the drums, the crash of the cymbals--sounds that say listen to this, it is important.

The dialogs (including the lines between them, i.e. "Nue nodded") are mostly short, but this hardly bothered me - what set me off were the consecutive long sentences. I fall into this exact pitfall way to often too, I need to read it again and break it up in smaller sentences regularly.

Alright, I'll give another look to the sentence structure. Like I said, this was written in segments over a long time, so apparently it was as disjointed as I feared.
As for the dialogue, that's just something I need to work on, to give characters more human interactions, especially in shorter works.
Which would probably make a good center point for my next story/script/writin'.

Make some quick, sketchy studies of the poses you want before making the structured version, that might help you with stiffness. I'm in the same boat, and it will fail most of the time, but the times it works make it worth it.

My personal hint is to never go on if you think it's bad at first glance. Erase it and do it again until it looks somewhat dynamic. We tend to stick with the first attempt as if there was no other way of doing it, and a reset in early stages of production doesn't cost much time.

Try playing with number of lines. You do 4 lines every time and it gets predictable.
If you suddenly don't insert a fourth one, or make it shorter/longer than it should, people will be thrown off and this is a good attention grabber. Just be sure to correctly connect it with the next section.

I don't think it feels cheesy, but rather hispanic. Which it IS in fact, so yeah, you moved the music from generic piano style to ay caramba.

>(Input.GetKeyUp(KeyCode.A) && Input.GetKeyUp(KeyCode.D)

Keeping in mind I've never used c# in particular, let alone with unity, this looks like it will
A: Trigger only if A & D are released at the same time
B: Trigger only at that one moment they are released

From what I gather from quickly reading up, what you're trying to do is add an acceleration to something. I have no idea how this works without experience using it, but presumably it should be decelerating it to 0 and I can only further presume this works without a loop. Thus, I think A is probably the problem, based on my limited understanding of what the problem is.

>I have code that says if the buttons aren't being pressed he should slow down to a stop.
Doesn't actually say if it's slowing down at all or not, I mean.

***Since writing this, I looked up C# and it looks like && does work a little different in it, in that instead of needing A and D to be released (&), If D is released and A isn't, it'll be considered false just on the basis of A not having been released, regardless of if D was released or not. (Which is the same effect but still different enough to note.)

If this is the problem, then you could probably use OR instead of AND, since it'll go through both things if either key has been released, or just seperate them into seperate ifs for each key.

Hah, was just watching it
fl studio, but each daw has its own workflow style
(howtomakeemusic and warbeats' are great channels to start)

Here's a list of the main DAWs out there:

- Ableton
- Fl studio
- Reason (Only really works with a midi keyboard tbh)
- Pro Tools
- Bitwig (Includes online capability to collab with other producers in realtime)
- Cubase

Mac:
- Pro Tools
- Logic

go take a look at some random daw reviews if you've got the time; if it helps the daw with the most tutorials available tends to have the shallowest learning curve :)

I suppose you mean the Shinobu one, right?

I always block the song with one chord per bar and then add some variation on later stages if I get there.
About the voicings, I have learned a heavy amount of music theory not long ago and am still all over the place, testing progressions, inversions and whatnot.

Is there something specifically bothering you regarding the voicings? A harmony problem?
