I never learned how to use chop sticks. Fuckers always told me to hold one like a pencil, and when I did, I could never get them to close. So now in my mind I can only think I hold pencils incorrectly.

OP, try to learn how to eat with chopsticks. Sure you can use a fork or your hand for that matter, but most Asians food are meant to be hold with chopsticks.

When in Rome do as the Romans do. You do enjoy the food more if you eat it the proper way. Its how the food was made after all. You don't go all highclass and eat with a whole set of forks and knives for a sandwich. You do that with a steak.
