Anyways melty isnt known much because there isnt a stateside release. I mean nobody knew what the fuck arcana heart was until it got released over here.

The fighting in Melty Blood is tripe. Well, so is the fighting in GGXX, but at least that has nice graphics and good music. MB doesn't have any of that.

I'm pretty sure GG was one of the more balanced fighters, far more balanced than MB, SF3, and MvC2, at least up until the recent MB patches. Even then, GG sports the "better" engine for tourneyfagging.

Saying SWR is balanced well and can compete with GG is a plausible statement to make, although I don't believe it to be true. Thinking MB is better balanced than GG overall as a series is just plain ignorant fanboyism.

That tiering is based solely on matchups. Everyone in the game has a disadvantage when fighting these 4, no exceptions. From there, every character has an advantage when matched with the character below them.

Urien might be near top tier, but he has bad matchups against the big 3(4) for sure, though he is an awesome character in general. Beautiful combos.

I don't believe Nero was that great for MBAC unless your opponent is new to the game. I thought A tier was Satsuki, Red Akiha, Sion, and Warcueid and Shiki were just S tier beyond broken.

The current MB is very well-balanced, IMO, even if I dislike the combo-heavy engine. It still demands precision timing to take advantage of openings and opportunities, but I just find it more lenient in regards of mashing and spacing.

But I digress, I am merely talking about game balance, not which franchise is better or more fun.

Welcome to all fighting games. SF3 is nice because it has at least 4. The MSH clones like GGXX and MB don't have that luxury.

Guilty Gear XX? Sol and Millia were the gods, and now it's all Testament. Melty Blood? Sacchin has always been the queen here. Also, MB is still an amateur-made game at heart, thanks to how terrible Ecole is.

Saying GGXX or MB is balanced just reeks of inexperience.
