How long do you think the average /jp/sie would last in Gensokyo if the hag ported them there?

>> No.12524813

>>12524800
It will be the first recording of a negative time span.

It depends entirely on the location. If they were ported to the village they would be fine, assuming they dont suffer from any diseases requiring any form of medicine.

Otherwise if it's random then it's a plain lottery of ending up at a "safer" area and finding a good natured youkai before a hungry one finds you.

>If they were ported to the village they would be fine

There are no neet bux there. You have to work to survive.

>> No.12524857

>>12524841
Diseases are not a problem in Gensokyo, if there something that local remedies can't cure Eirin will gladly help and even let you pay whenever you'll be able to.

The real problem is that until you enter the village I don't think you're protected by the youkai contract. Also there are feral animals and stuff to begin with anyway. Another issue would be living in general, since there are various medieval-tier problems like rats and stuff.

Afcoarse, but even the laziest neets would eventually adapt and get to work. Humans are suprisingly adaptave.

>>12524857
That's what I mentioned with lottery. You are free game until you enter the village. That's why it's vital that you either find a good natured youkai or the village before you get found by a youkai that sees you as a nice snack.

Medieval tier issues are ussualy hygiene related, which then leads to medical issues. But if diseases are no issue then that's not a big problem. besides, you'd assume that the occasional outsider that does make it to the village would teach people some basic hygiene.

You might even become a shaman of sorts.

"I don't care if boiling makes the water taste funny. Boil it or you will die."

"I'm going to lance this, but I'm going to heat this needle up in the fire first. No, this isn't torture. Stop squirming."

"I can cut that tumor out right after I rub lye on my knife. Hell yes it's going to hurt. I'd offer you booze but you'd just bleed out during the operation. Bite this stick now, drink that sake after."

"Dump your bedpans in THIS hole, get your water from THAT hole. Make sure everybody knows which hole is which."

Mang I think that was discovered way before the medieval era.

The rest aside from the last is "Just go to Eirin". The human village should have the technology of a 1700's Japanese town with a little mix of modern 1900's technlogy and magic (like the dragon statue that predicts weather in the plaza). The real problem is adapting yourself to that ambient phycologically since you live the hard way like your grand-gramps did (my main problem would be going to the restroom, since I can't live without a bidet, it's traumatic every time I travel)

I think this guy's right. If you're lucky enough to end up close to the village/a friendly youkai, you'll probably do alright.

Personally, if I were that lucky, step two would be to get a job at either one of the big factional houses or as a Teacher with Keine. Outside world knowledge will surely help there.

If I were dropped off in the middle of the forest/nowhere, though? I'd probably be youkai fodder within hours probably. I'd bet the rest of /jp/ would too.

Not sure about /jp/, but I think most NEETs would be pretty well off.

Not sure if my NEET friends are the exception because they have rich parents, but they're fit, know multiple languages, and well-versed in the most random shit. I don't why they holed themselves in or dropped out of HS.

I guess if you don't work, you are basically dedicating 8 hours more than the average person to whatever you want. Not to mention, if you don't need to drive anywhere, shower, brush your teeth, go to social events, ect you'd save on crazy amounts of time.

I think most of /jp/ knows Japanese, so they wouldn't be fucked in the communication area. How good /jp/ is in fitness and hygiene(Looking attractive will probably have the villagers treat you better), but being a modern human would probably mean you'll have less defects than the villagers.

I'd imagine /jp/sies dropped in the village would try going to the SDM to live the dream of being in a mansion and drinking delicious tea with 2hus.

I'd say a couple months before they killed themselves?
