I have two pillows, but I never really rotate the covers on them. Even as my collection has grown, I'm really afraid of using one and ruining it entirely, as some of them were pretty rate and difficult to get.

I have two pillows but usually just sleep with Chitoge because I have small bed and she's beautiful. Just started ADP's "daki in a box" subscription, that's where I got Haruhi. I think they just send you left over stuff (not as good artwork) but it's still exciting to get a random daki every month.

I've got 8 or 9 of them but these are the only two I sleep with. Hanyuu is the first one I got years ago and she's always been on my bed.

I have one of those. But I also bought more expensive stuffing from the same places I bought my covers from in Japan (that weren't amiami). They turned out to be much softer (and still are) and made that one feel firm in comparison. However, they wore fairly fast and the stuffing on the lower portion of them is all crumpled apart. I think some of the stuffing in the lower part also redistributed into the upper part for one of them because it feels way thicker than the others in the upper portion.

Does anyone know where I can find a good daki of wriggle?

Cutting your fingernails will prevent you from snagging the cover and ripping the fabric. Body hair is coarse and can do the same when rubbing against the cover. Showering keeps body oils off the cover and prevents color fading.

Daki covers are doujin items, so they're often sold exclusively at events. They're produced in small quantities and usually never get reprints. Only a few circles offer mailorder, and an even smaller number of those ship and sell to foreigners. Unlike doujinshi and other hobby items, dakis have to unopened for them to be valuable on the secondhand market, which constricts the supply even further.

Basically, stay vigilant and don't stop looking if you have your eye on a specific cover. You'll have better peace of mind if you stay patient.
