Listened to all XFDs down to Hip-Hop category, so far downloaded 24 albums. Mostly because of a single song that got my ears, I'll go through a lot of shit for the gold.

Haven't listened to any full album yet.

Tokyo Active NEETs are really amazing, but I can't seem to like their stuff enough... I only kept 1 track from their past album and this time the demo didn't even hype me.

Boston Touhou Orchestra and specially Con are my favorite jazz arrangers so far.

I also really like that I can buy Tou-Hop Vol 2 on Bandcamp. Would be nice if more of this music could be easily DLed for a reasonable price.

Exactly. While many other players have improved over the years as musicians and composers, Taka has largely stayed the same or at least improved very little. He's still playing with an awful tone that sounds like a toy dog barking and can't resist reaching for the wah pedal as if it makes his dull phrasing any better. I get why people like his music. I used to listen to Crow's Claw a lot too, but with so many more exciting guitarists emerging, Taka really needs to think about how he's approaching his guitar playing and compositions. In fact, both him and IRON CHINO should sit down and think seriously about it.

Not the anon you replied to, but I can see where you're coming from. I don't have too much knowledge of guitar technique, so I'll just take your word on it for that matter, but I think Taka has at least been a little more inventive lately. Especially The Flames of the Inferno and Resonance of the Nickel Strings had some songs that weren't the usual Crow's Claw, yet still just as well composed as his older tracks. I think "Stay Upbeat" and "Poison Body" are two examples of that.

I'm so angry
I got a new PC and formatted my old one after moving everything.
After setting it up I go look at my music folder and notice my Kino no Tabi folder is all in FLAC.
I get LAME to convert it to 320kbs mp3 but forgot it converts to 260 by default. So I converted it to 160kbs and shit+del'd the FLAC folder.

Now I noticed the mistake and go to download everything again from bakabt and it's missing the thing I liked the most, a doujin album from Little Wing. They removed it because it's a doujin so it doesn't belong there. Fucking retards.

Now even after a good 10 minutes of searching I can only find shitty 200kbs mp3s, no FLAC anymore.
What should I do? It can't have disappeared from the internet just like that.

If you convert to mp3 to save space there's really no reason to use 320kbps CBR instead of v0. The only reason v0 averages to a slightly lower bitrate is because it doesn't enforce 320kbps if not necessary. There is no audible difference between the two.
Just to explain why lame defaults to v0. I can't help you with finding a lossless rip of that album, though. Sorry.

Yeah, I'm listening to it now. It's very good so far, I just have such a large stack of this stuff it's gonna take a month just to listen to all of it. If anything it proves Hatsune Miku still sounds like a cat crying into a drain pipe in quite a few genres of music, with trance being a big exception.

I'm not sure what it is about this album, but I find myself listening to it over and over again. It actually comes in a DVD-like case with an artbook. Interesting that there's no FLAC version of it out yet. This and TOHO R&B House Party 3. Twinkle World is a much better vocaloid album (also ODA's, damn he's always good though).
