In Gensokyo forest there lived a Yukkurisa with her two Yukkureimu daughters. They found a nice little cave where they were safe and could take it easy. One day Yukkurisa realized she was pregnant, without having refreshed with anyone,
it surprised her somewhat, but then she took it easy. As she was healthy, had a safe place, and dedicated daughters to bring lots of food, the pregnancy wasn't too much of a bother.
The labor on the other hand turned out very painful. Since wasn't getting enough
exercise (being tended by her daughters) and was eating too much, the child grew
to abnormally large size. Yukkurisa was rolling in pain, screaming, trying to push
the child out.

"Yu!Yu! Lemme out! Don't squeeze me so hard!" at some point during birth the child's cries joined the chorus.

The older yukkureimu was scared by all that, but it could do little to help, it tried pushing at mother's side, but it just resulted in more pain. It stressed yukkureimu so much she couldn't hold back the tears, so she started crying, and then left the cave not to stress her mother further. A couple of minutes later the cries from the cave stopped.
Yukkureimu was scared to come back, afraid of what she'd see, but then the younger yukkureimu came to her and said

"We got a sister, it's Marisa!"

And so it was. The now extended family took it easy in their cave. The youngest yukkurisa was growing fast. When the weather allowed, they played together in a nearby meadow.
And then, just a couple days later, the mother yukkurisa was pregnant again. Except this time it took a form of branch growing out of her head. Both the mother and her children breathed a collective sigh of relief, they weren't sure they could handle another experience like the last one.
The children on the stalk grew fast, and it soon turned out they were Myons, three of them. Yukkurisa decided to love them, no matter what they were.

Within a couple of days, it was the time for them to be born. Yukkurisa and her daughters gathered around, encouraging the little ones. The fist one shook of the stalk, jumped down, and crashed on the floor.
Everyone was shocked. The koyukkurisa didn't quite unterstand what happened, but the smaller of two yukkureimus started crying. The myons were horrified, "Noo! I dun wanna fall and crash." they shouted. The mother yukkurisa tried to calm them down, but it wasn't working, eventually she got an idea.
"Take it easy, yu! I'll lower my head, so the branch is just above the floor, then you can jump down easy!" announced the mother, satisfied with it's brilliant idea.
"Oh! We can take it easy that way." agreed the Myons.
And so mother yukkurisa shifted, and lowered her head, keeping the branch low above the ground. First Myon started shaking, eventually separating from the branch. It landed safely on the floor, and turned to the last Myon to encourage her. But the third Myon was crushed. Mother yukkurisa was so focused on the second one when lowering the branch, so she crushed the third when lowering the branch. The whole family cried, but then they cheered up. At least one Myon was born safely.

A couple of days later, the Myon has grown, it was still soft, but not so much now, so it wasn't in immediate danger. The weather was nice, so the whole family moved out of the cave to play in the meadow. The mother yukkurisa and yukkureimu daughters would play their old game of throwing sticks. One would grab a stick with it's mouth and throw it, and the others would jump up to catch it. Myon and small yukkurisa were jumping around, encouraging.

"Marisa wantz da play too!" announced the small yukkurisa after a while, and jumped to grab the stick.

Mother yukkurisa jumped and grabbed the stick. She then landed, and felt a pleasant taste, she bit harder on the stick, it was the tasties stick she ever licked. "This shit is good!" she announced. And then she heard her children cry. She looked down, and saw her treat for what it really was.
She gasped in horror, dropping the daughter yukkurisa on the ground, bean paste leaking out. The yukkureimus were shocked silent. "Bwaaaaa!" cried Myon, it was getting louder. Mother yukkurisa moved towards it to cheer it up.
"Nwoooo! Dun eatz me!" cried Myon.
"I won't eat you, please don't cry, it was an accident, please take it easy." yukkurisa rubbed gently against Myon.
Myon closed her eyes, and shuddered in fear. Then it squeaked "Dooon't!"
And then the older yukkureimu bumped into mother yukkurisa. "Don't eat our little sister!". But that was a mistake, yukkurisa was pushed forward and the soft Myon was crushed.

Yukkurisa just wanted to cry.
The reimus cuddled together a bit away from her, the smaller one said "I'm scared!". "Mommy's gone crazy!" said the older, "She'll kill us next!"
"No, my daughters, this was an accident, can't we all just take it easy?", she turned to her remaining children.
"Nooo! She's looking at me"
"Go away you crazy old woman!"
Yukkurisa made a move, and the older yukkureimu jumped at her
"Donut worry, I'll save you!" she said to the smaller sister as she jumped.

Yukkureimu and yukkurisa collided in air, yukkureimu biting wildly.
Yukkurisa tried to calm her down, alternatively shouting, asking and begging, but when the wounds began to accumulate and her life was in danger, she lashed out and bit upon the attacker!
She was greeted by an explosion of taste, the beanpaste was even better than the one she tasted a while before, full of rich sweetnes. She chastised herself for thinking that way, but she couldn't stop herself, instead of letting go, she bit deeper, riping of a huge chunk of flesh. Yukkureimu fell on the ground, twitching.

Meanwhile, the smaller of yukkureimus escaped, escaped to the place it thought was safe, to her home, the cave.

A couple of minutes later, the mother entered.
Yukkureimu was still in shock, it didn't know what's going on, it wanted to hug her mommy, and it wanted to escape, it tried to say something, but it could only say "yu".
"Don't worry my little daughter, I won't hurt you, we can all take it easy"
"yu"
"It was all an accident, let's take it easy"
"yu"
"I say it was a damn accident! Take it easy damnit!" shouted mother yukkurisa
Yukkureimu didn't answer, and backed away, trying to squeeze itself into the corner.
"There there, don't worry" yukkurisa approached, but her huge form was blocked by the cave's walls. Yukkurisa reached out with her tongue, licking yukkureimu.
"See? I don't want to eat you"
"Yu?"
Yukkurisa licked once more.
"Mowmy! That tickles!"
"See? Let's take it easy." laughed mother yukkurisa, but in truth she could only think of the taste she felt. The younger reimu's skin had a better taste than the older one's.
The first koyukkuri she tasted(yukkurisa) was pretty good, the second (older yukkureimu) was many times better, just how good would the third one taste?
Perhaps it would be many times better than the second one?

Yukkureimu eventually build enough trust, crawled out of the corner and rubbed against mommy.
"Oh mowmy! I was so scared! Everyone is dead, how are we going to take it easy?"
It looked up on it's mother, and saw the open maw. It was also the last thing it saw.

Some time later, yukkurisa returned to the meadow, and began feasting on the body of her eldest daughter, loudly proclaiming "This shit is good". Every now and then she'd take a break and cry on the side "my daughters! whyyyy!".

The "feast" continued for hours. The sun set and the darkness fell.
There was a rustling sound in the bushes, and a dark figure emerged.

Erin looked upon yukkurisa, that has just began it's "crying" phase of the cycle, then examined the rest of the scene.

"Too bad your daughters are dead."

Yukkurisa didn't react, still repeating "why are they dead? why are all my daughetrs dead?"

"I wanted to see their reaction when your boddy dissoved into a swarm of wriggle-type yukkuri..." still no reaction from yukkurisa.
Erin shrugged her arms, "this serum has limited shelf life, so there's no point saving it for later." she said stabbing a syringe into yukkurisa and injecting the contents.
Yukkurisa was now repeating "why are they dead? why did my daughers taste so good?"
Then Erin went towards, she removed a tape from the VCR device hidden in a fake rock a couple of meters away from the exit, she hesitated for a second, but then replaced it with an empty tape. Giving a look inside the cavern, she noticed a bit of splattered beanpaste. "Seems like at least some of it happened here. Perhaps I will get some results of this afterall." she thought. Passing by the yukkurisa on her way back, she examined the trees surrounding the meadow "I'll need to place a camera somewhere around here too."

"Take care, yukkurisa" the said aloud, and left.

Anyways. a yukkurisa giving birth to reimus and myons violates canon, but doesn't contribute anything to the story. The violation of giving birth without getting refreshed could be replaced seamlessly by the 'father' running off (although not in your reiteration, because it got pregnant AGAIN). Then there's the issue of the marisa chasing after children WHILE proclaiming "oh god what am I doing". That's just something I'd call stupid. Going back to the family ties thing; the stronger the ties, the more interesting it is to break them. If they just eat each other so quickly then their ties must not have been very strong. And just bemoaning the situation does nothing to convince me that the mother cared for her children. I would just call that an instance of bad writing.
I'm just going from memory, so there may be more things. Yes I know you're basing that on my strawman, but there are two completely pointless violations of canon and another that I say is just more bad writing.

OP of forum idea here. I'm not trying to get rid of yukkuri on /jp/, nor am I some zealot for either side of the argument. I'm fine with threads on /jp/ continuing, I just thought it would be nice to have clearly delineated and controlled discussions between the two sides as well as a place to post untranslated content once instead of posting it in thread after thread. Then when stuff gets done, I or someone will post in the thread. It isn't hurting anybody, it's just an idea. Also, the family friendly thread is a site of frequent arguments over yukkuri, so a better-moderated haven could prevent the bickering. That was all I was suggesting.
