I don't know how the fuck people can live a sane NEET lifestyle. I feel like shit if I don't feel like I'm doing something productive with my life. Even with chores around the house, if I don't do anything around the house during my off days then I feel like a lazy piece of shit.
I heard about that one dude on I think /R9K/ who never left his room once for like 10 years, and that shit's just depressing. I don't know why anyone would want to live anything remotely close to that kind of lifestyle.

My advice is stop being an ungrateful shit and change your way of thinking, as someone in this thread said, then proceed to not be a burden to your family.

I knew a guy (not a NEET) who tried to kill himself through overdosing on pills. Was going to school, had a girlfriend, didn't work, mom paid for his apartment (shared with three other dudes, though)

It was a legitimate suicide attempt, from what I've heard. Anyways, long story short, he got paperwork from the whole ordeal and used it to get on disability here in Canada...lives with parents, gets about $400/month disability money plus whatever his parents give him, goes to all the big conventions here, still parties, has another girlfriend.

I talked to him over drinks at a bar and he informed me that he never plans to work. What a cunt.
