I don't want my employer to see an employment gap of a few years on my resume because I'll have to admit I'm a /jp/ funposter, anyone know how to get my background removed?

my friend got a job today and last night he didnt want to play anything because he was busy "rehearsing" for the interview. he kept telling me he was really nervous and he didnt know why he was so nervous then today he told me he was hired on the spot and now all he talks about is how happy he is that he got a job and how fun and exciting its going to be and how much "stress" is lifted off his shoulders and how annoyed he was at himself for never having a job before

he is going to be working at a corner store in a town of 1500 people

It really pissed me off to see my childhood friend act like this. I thought he was like me but apparently he's not. He's just like every other wannabe normie NEET. It's a shame.

Sending out resumes, calling managers, etc doesn't work. The best way to get a job is to just ask your parents if they know anyone who's hiring. They'll overlook any flaws you have just for being a friend of the family. My mom got me a job like this with a lawyer after I dropped out of school. When people ask me I tell them I'm a lawyer too and they're impressed and then they ask me all sorts of questions about law and what being a lawyer is like, it's great.

ive gotten 6 jobs so far in my life and 4 of them were from knowing someone related/friends/currently working at that job.

But that doesnt mean taking the normal channels is impossible, you just have to do everything you can to stand out from the pack.

A simple phone call and short enthusiastic chat 2 days after sending an application immediately puts you in that persons mind.

A resume is a piece of paper that sells YOU.
So you lie.
Not employed? Fine, make up a position that fits your current goal of where you want to get hired.
There's so many possibilities, that as long as you're not in a NICHE field you can lie to the high heavens and get away with it.
For example-- in my current position-- I fucking lied about my past education, employment history and I had OFFERS from multiple employers-- I chose the best offer which was in the public sector and now I'm a comfortable early 20's youth w/ a 45k/yr salary position.

My previous job was barely 25K, in the same field.
