Started 神樹の館. The atmosphere is nice, and I'm finding it far easier to read than 紅殻町博物誌, mainly because the ADV format forces Mareni to be more succinct. Third-person narration still feels a bit strange since I learned to read almost exclusively on first-person stuff, but I suspect I'll come to like it.

It's kind of funny how Romeo is the only one credited for the scenario in the OP and on DLsite when Mareni apparently wrote almost the entire game. I guess Romeo's name is more recognizable/marketable, but still.

Just finished Marie's route in Dies Irae. It was really, really good and I had a lot of fun reading it. However, I'm torn on whether or not to just read KKK now since it apparently continues off from the end of Marie's route, or just read Rea's route and then go for KKK after it. Any suggestions?

Also, how exactly is KKK related to the end of Marie's route?

Finished Lui's route in Naka no Hito nado Inai! Tokyo Hero Project. Minor spoilers ahead.
While I were searching for good moege I found it and picked up because of Lui. Where else can you find blonde loli in military outfit who heads a secret society fighting mahou shoujo aliens with high-tech kigurumi? Well THP met my expectations both in comedy and romance. Definetely not a top-notch but pretty good. High amount of bad for heart icha-icha in the beginning of the route and crazy battles in the end. Plot is VERY simple and predictable, characters are memorable (Kirihara worst girl would not read). Music is okay-ish, the only one catchy track is main menu theme. Art is obviously superb. Keep in mind that THP has references to Osadai and other Alcot works. Overall 7,5/10, nice and easy read.
So I have a question: are other routes worth reading if I'm not very interested in girls except Lui?

Did Midori's route in Hatsukoi 1/1, was better than expected, since I was expecting something quite bad as I don't think I've ever heard anything good about it.

Is Senshinkan really that hard?
I started reading it as like my 5th VN and I haven't run into any problems understanding it yet and it's pretty fun to look up the occasional hard kanji.
Of course I will need to re-read it later without a dictionary to fully enjoy the battle scenes, but Grisaia seems much harder to me, I dropped that after the intro since I didn't understand any part of the backstory.

got this air mouse practically for free a while back. makes playing VNs much more comfy. i can sit back and keep it in either hand, bottle of booze in the other, play from underneath a blanket, or from my bed. can also bind the mouse gestures to keystrokes for extra functionality such as reviewing past dialogue or taking screenshots.

the total lack of precision in the gyroscope makes it totally useless for anything else, but if you can get one for really cheap you might like playing VNs with it.
