Are there any visual novels in which the player faces major choices which don't focus on romance relationship? Where it's not about choosing your favorite girl but rather choosing a faction you want to join or some more moral decisions.

Thanks for the rec, sounds interesting actually. What can you tell me about Umineko no naku koro ni and vns by Liar-soft. They seem to be interesting and without romance being a central focus. I'm not sure how it goes for choices in those though.
