Who am I quoting? Myself.

I feel very proud of you /jp/. For once I feel very at home browsing /jp/ after a long time. I feel like I've entered a time machine because I thought that the 2hu fandom had almost died completely (at least on /jp/)

I've had the feeling that /jp/ has become far more educated and forgiving in the last two years. Only recently have I noticed that little to no threads are constantly shit posted on. Also, most threads are orderly and deviate very little from their usual content, which shows that specific small groups have formed around certain subjects, and those who had nothing to do with them either adapted or left completely. Such prospects were impossible to be expected, for example, two years ago. I'm so glad /jp/ became a nice place to waste my life in.

Not really. It is actually the only form where discussion can happen. Without organized topics and general threads, there would only be reposting and shit posting.

The general threads frequently devolve into off topic shit flinging matches, but so do the non-generals. Like this one.

I'm not sure which threads you've been frequenting, but it's probably consesus that /jp/ has been alot more cleaner, which facilitates discussions. And besides, apart from one or two persistent comunities of /jp/, this board doesn't happen to have 'general threads' in their more strict sense as other, more visited boards do. Because of this, I feel it is fine to occasionaly deviate from a main subject, sofar that it follows a linear discussion, and does not delve into copious amounts of unrelated shitposts.

Holy shit people like you really do exist.

>> No.12223455

>>12223445
I've seen it happen in all the generals at least once, and I don't even frequent most of them. It's the exact same thing that happens to regular threads a lot of the time, meta or people arguing about irrelevant shit just to get the last word. It's not discussion, never mind on topic discussion, but it's not much different than the non-specific threads.

How boring, I liked it better when we just told people to get out of /jp/ and had really interesting discussions in threads whenever we wanted, and there was way less shitflinging and ironic shitposting in threads with actual discussion compared to now

Guys, I'm here to warn you. I know this isn't going to be received well, if it's received at all, but that's fine. I'll have you know that the last time I warned you of something like this, it proved true, so you would be wise to step back and take a look at the big picture.

You're becoming too welcoming of normalfags. Daily now I see threads about how many men a woman having slept with is acceptable, or how you "women" here on /jp/ have already slept with men, and what your "girlfriends" think of /jp/. Or, even more disgusting, the threads worshipping "hot" 3D women - they're becoming much more plentiful. Look, /jp/'s an otaku/2D culture. We don't accept 3D females, no matter how "hot" or "fuckable" they are - they are 3D PIG DISGUSTING. Check your libidos at the door, men, and you can check your breasts and vaginas too, women.

What to do, what to do? Stop being fags and "hiding" these threads. If you do that, then it will just become a subculture of /jp/, just as welcome as any other subculture. They shouldn't be on /jp/ AT ALL, so don't just passively allow them to exist, make life hell for them so that they get the flying fuck out. Stop being accepting /jp/, or this will just turn into a Japanese themed /b/, with shit like "my gfs a jap, will she kill herself if i stick it in her pooper". Don't let it happen, /jp/.

/jp/ is also for idols. Untill there is an /i/ (wihich would not get enough posts to warrant it's existence) you'll have to deal with it.
