Is 2 1/2 weeks of playing too soon to decide? Hiei is awesome. Kiso is great. So is Tenryuu. Mutsuki's super adorable, Tatsuta's voice... ect. Nearly the entire cast is extremely adorable or attractive. Even if you narrow it down to just the tomboy/short hair girls, it's still impossible.

There's nothing wrong with marrying Yamato. She's one of the prettiest ships in the game and is voiced by Taketatsu Ayana.

If you're really tryhard then you marry a Kongou class or Kaga/Taihou/Hiryuu. Unless the devs suddenly start favoring slow ships then those ships will always have the most utility. Yamatos are strong enough already without the stat boost too.

Most people get into the game because of one ship and marry her or just marry their starter.

Bringing along two BBs for PvP doesn't always guarantee B rank or higher, and it costs around 130 ammo and fuel, which takes much longer to replenish than 20 bauxite. The higher raw exp makes up for that with most other ships, but for carriers you'll never get MVP and S-rank is far from guaranteed.

Nagato class and Yamato class are already op as it is.
Agano class are LSC only/Event only with the exception of Agano, which only drops at 5-4.
Yamato class are similar as well.
And I know, Bismarck has a Zwei, but that's because she needs it, being weak and all.
But if they do, then Agano and her sisters, Yamato, and Nagato would be so overpowered it'd make all the other ships need a kai san.
Historically however, they did have constant remodels.

Nah, armour and HP are shit for DDs, they can't take a hit anyway. What's important are firepower, evasion, torpedo and luck stats. Firepower for day battle. Night battle requires firepower and torpedo stats, and maybe luck stat depending on the setup (cut-in needs luck, double attack doesn't). And evasion for dodging stuff, which is also very important for DDs.

If you want, AA might come into use too, but that's about it for important stats for DDs.
