As for the two heavy cruisers, it's highly likely it's Myouko or Takao but it's hard to point which of the two since both were used as floating AA batteries but Takao was the only one I know who was camouflaged but that could be the same as Myouko since both were basically docked in the same area. Considering bob's going all out with the recent K2s I'm pinning it on Myouko but I haven't given up hope on Takao.

Aleutian and Midway campaign comfirmed this summer. I hope there's still at least a month or so because I need to prepare my carriers and planes.

My Kadokawa speculation says that Nao Touyama can only be hired in large sittings where she has to put in new lines for a whole bunch of ships. With Ayanami just this update, Haruna is all but confirmed--but this also lends credit to Takao being more possible.

Personally I'm going for AA support. I.e reppus, AA guns or shells, and radars, and focus on 3 carriers. Probably Akagi, Souryuu and Hiryuu.
America had way more bombers, yet most were shot down or missed, so I think I'd rather be on the defense than on the offense.
If there are night battle nodes, then I suppose carrying one of those star shell and probably that night scout on a BB would be necessary, but it's usually just one node.

AfaIk, how much damage your ships can potentially receive go like this: On the opening aerial phase every side loses a determined percentage of their planes depending on the results that opening phase are. Plane shot down percentage also varies for different kind of planes: fighters have the lowest percentage while torpedo planes has the highest.

After this, each slot on the carriers select a target ship randomly. Then, the target ships has a 50% of probabilities to shoot downn of each slot assigned to attack her. Youapply the AA defence formula which brings down more planes.

After all of this is when the plane damage formula is applied and possible damage is calculated (because thr attacking ship accuracy and the defending ship evasion still come intoo place).

The same thing happens thr shelling phase .

That's why, at least for me, evasion and Air supremacy are more important than the AA stats on ships.

Maruyu is the best for this role, you need to kai every single one anyway.

I knew I should've finished 12 boss weekly by doing 2 boss kills every day for the week without leaving last 2 kills for weekends. Already got ~5k of steel and finished 50 transport weekly to boot without reaching boss even once

That is a valid point, but the problem here is that none of the Spring event maps were farmable, not that E4 was overly difficult. E4 was an incredibly easy map to clear and only needed a couple of level ~40 DDs, a CL and a BBV. You could do it with Mutsuki-class.

But you also needed to risk a repair team or two to do it, so there's a very big difference between going at it ten times and a hundred.

Be it with 4BB2CV or 3BB2CV1CVL, I have 50% chance to go home because of Re's raping torpedo in node 3, 25% chance of being sent to east, and the rest sent to the boss.

What is the difference between Zharay and Yuubari's KCV?

I know that Zharay's version haven't been updated for a long time, but I don't see any problems with it that needs to be updated, since everything still works fine New items, quests and ships aren't translated, but that can be easily fixed by inserting english text to the XML files.

I been crafting planes during dailies for the past month. I have 1 reppu kai, 1 shinden kai 2, and 1 ryuusei kai. Didn't get many.

Doing 2/6/38 for 16 hours a day for a month will give you about 60k exp, which will bring you to level 77. So if you do absolutely nothing else, you should be able to stay under 80, but you'll be dangerously close, meaning you might level up during the event. Also, it's not like it's confirmed it will scale at 80 exactly, or at all.

In the end, it kinda depends on how shitty your ships are right now. I'd rather do 80+ with strong ships than 40-79 with underleveled ships.
