But please don't come here asking which VNs are easy to read. The best thing is just to look at screenshots of it and see, or just read it.

Asairo is my favorite eroge to date.
Itsusora is a really good read, though I personally didn't find it quite Asairo level.

If you're picking it up keep in mind that even though many walkthroughs suggest Futami > Konome > San order, the general consensus is to leave Konome's route for last. More grandiose finale than San's and connects better to the explanation epilogue that's unlocked after completing all the routes.

You don't really need to go in knowing all that much, since a lot of the important stuff gets explained in the epilogue. Also, there are certain websites with more in-depth explanations of those things that you can look at after you finish.l

I have finished Princess General 2. It was not a very rewarding experience and there were too many characters to care about anyone, but I think I cared for Karian and Mio and liked that they ended up together. Also, Louie is a faggot. Event though it's kinda hard to judge a character whose personality is this inconsistent between routes (Emilio was at least consistently evil), at times he manages to be a jerk even if you stick to Law side (though I admit I got a bit better opinion of him during the Law ending) and if Verita is any indication he did not stick to it and did some depisable things, and don't get me started on first Princess General.
Friendly advice: next time you want to play Verita and someone suggests you to read PGs first, tell them to sodimize themselves. You won't even be better off if you go with Eien no Ikusa Hime, since you are going to waste twenty hours on something that is not even Celica's story. Even scrolling to the last chapter is excessive, since they retell it within first moments of Verita. You shouldn't touch PGs at all, unless you care for Louie (which you shouldn't) or Kamidori's gameplay got you interested (you'll be in for inferior gameplay in this case).

With Princess General 2 I have played almost every Dir Lyphina game and here is intermediate protagonist ranking (There are still Meishoku no Reiki and Madou Koukaku but according to map from Eushully site the former is not connected to any other and it's a demon rapege anyway, so I'll pass on that and the latter is straining my computer too much, so I'll pass on that too for a time being):
Celica > Elena > Wilfred > Fino > Emilio > Louie
What I want for their next project is another game with a female protagonist. Valefor, for example, is already the star of Memoria and would be a good protagonist material.

They fucked up with the timeline thing, For example at the Event selection you are seeing a scene with Shion where she is familiar with MC, she even wants to fuck with him, Then she reappears at common route with "who the fuck are you brat, I guess you are a new student". Also they should made a harem ending like their other games,having 30 different ending (every girl has a route) and mixing all of them in the fandisk is not a smart move + MC is most useless protag in baseson history.

Finished Majokoi nikki. Really liked it, it's the kind of story I fall in love with, which doesn't happen nearly as often as I like.
It's probably my favourite VN of the year even if it's not the best, it pushed all my buttons perfectly and there was not a single thing I disliked about it, particularly the writing, the way it was structured in general, which was actually really clever regarding to the twists, like borrowing stuff like reusing actors from theatre, it had and the ost were outstanding for me.
I also really enjoyed the pacing too, the diaries weren't long, which is always a plus to create the atmosphere of 'you are reading about someone reading something' and the first end and the whole montage of Arisu and her dementia was something I found really moving, it was plain human drama and the effect wouldn't be lost even if Takumi could age, because it's something common and heartbreaking.
Now if someone could fill me in on the second ending Alice was a cunt and what boils down to a fanfiction writer trying to self insert, but did Takumi at the end turn into a dragon to put an end to her story? It's what I got from the last couple of lines, but I could be wrong. The song used for the ending seemed to imply so.
Also Arisu is love and loved her love story.

Finished Sakigake Generation. It took a little longer than expected because I had to wait for regeneration before every H-scene.
It was my first Clochette game, and I really enjoyed it. Unlike the usual moege, the heroines weren't just a bunch of blobs of shyness with different hair color. They all had unique personalities, with Natsume being the only real downfall in that respect. As was mentioned, they group also stayed together for every route, unlike in some moege when the MC and heroine suddenly stop everything else to flirt.
The humor was pretty good, though not on the level of, say, Hitotsu Tobashi or Fureraba. I specially enjoyed the scenes involving either the Yukinomiya sisters or J.D.
I agree that the real world magic parts weren't as good as the game ones, and I wish they had focused more on the later. I do understand they wanted to add some drama with that, but it doesn't really matter much when that drama is solved within minutes of being introduced.
Overall it was on the upper level of moege I've played, and had some nice production values. I'll be playing Clochette's earlier titles and looking out for them next.

Anything by Masada would require an extensive amount of effort to translate. Sakurai would be really hard to translate in case you want to preserve the text's flow. I imagine it'd require someone skilled to do it. Asairo would require so many TL notes that it'd just be useless to bother with it at all. Romeo is known for his prose so translating his stuff would probably be a pain in the ass too.
