Man, houkago no futekikakusha was SHIT, the best part was what the trial covered because every route is exactly the same.
I hope the true route does something slightly different since the heroine isn't the same as the rest, but damn it's disappointing, incredibly short too.

So the true route was also pretty mediocre with a ton of stupid cliches and general retardation, great! The ending wasn't bad per se, but so horribly generic.

Anyone else bugged by too many ero-scenes?
I mean, obviously I am going to fap to them. But there's a gigantic gap, with none being in common route, and 3-4 being in each heroine's route.
Fapping once a day, and going through them will take over a week. But there was nothing during common route. This sucks.

Fap more often.

Alternatively, be playing two games at once so you can be fapping to one while going through the common route of the other. Or just skip through the H-scenes and replay them later when you need something to fap to.

>> No.12160644

Finished Akatsuki no Goei.
People always complain about the endings, but since I'm more of a journey than destination kind of guy, I didn't mind them that much.
The best part of the game was Kaito, I really like those kind of MCs, though I wish he displayed more of his power instead of just once per route. It also had some pretty nice comedy, the best being the interactions with Tsuki and Moe's grandfather.
The girls were also all good, which is something pretty rare for me. I specially liked Aya and Tae (though the later's route wasn't as good as the rest of the game). Also, Moe's moans in the H-scenes didn't fit her character at all.

I think I'll play Tits Generation before starting the fandisk and sequel now.

>> No.12160653

>>12160644
That happens when the main issue of the whole route is getting the girl to confess to the MC, something I tend to dislike, unless there's just 1-2 H-scenes.
Sakuya's rouye in ren0 had this problem, her whole route was about her being tsundere and then it just crams her 5 scenes the last hour, which makes its ending quite bad.

Doesn't really matter, just play them in the order they're presented in the game, i.e. Makina > Amane > Sachi > Michiru > Yumiko. Meikyuu retcon wraps them all into one harem canon.
Or if you really want to, save Amane's route for last as the things revealed in her route connect best to the sequels. Be sure to also play through her bad end.

Nope, because that lion girl already took it away. By the way, I have to give credit to whoever thought her up: dyke, impudent, inhuman furry, wacky, rapes a main heroine, annoying VA, little girl physique, fucked forehead, babbling nonsense about justice, mysterious amnesiac and actually over 1000 years old. It's as if a world-wide committee of creative heads gathered to create the one character I personally would loathe the most, and they utterly succeeded at their endeavor. The only thing lacking was her endorsing the American military occupation of Europe.

I think I'll replay this. Dropped midway through Mako's route last time for reasons unremembered. Maybe because it was like the first VN I played in japanese and it was really tiring.

Ruri's route from what I've read is just okay.
Standard yakuza princess, "I won't accept it, you're kicked out of the family" "I'm going to live my own life now" type stuff, but events move at turbo speed. Chapter 7 ends with the first H-scene on Valentines day and that has been the only remotely ichaicha type scene in the route so far. The Chapter 8 Preview by showing the CGs it did, basically made it easy to guess what the rest of the route is going to be.

That's because people already finished discussing it when it was released. Most people play the game soon after its release date and most of the discussion for it happens then. Old series like GnK get mentioned because something new related to it gets released (in this case Memoria). Baldr Force was mentioned a lot too when Baldr Sky was just released.

This actually something EOPs seem to misunderstand as well. They think that we don't like to talk about translated games when really we're just done talking about it and have nothing to say about it anymore.

That may be one part of it, but mid-noughties titles put aside, I don't think people here or over there (from what I can tell on EGS) are all that familiar with 90's and early 00's stuff in the first place. We had a similar discussion recently about something along these lines, I remember one anon saying how eroge are all about girls, and thus are more inclined to stay in the minds of those who first experienced around the time of their original releases.

I enjoyed GnK2 more than Verita, and Verita more than Memoria.

For example me, I'm buying one eroge almost every month and I'm sure that I wont buy Sorahane's next title even if it has a marvelous story or godlike art. I highly doubt this is going to kill Sorahane. There's been games with much worse releases and their companies are still alive.

For example, CUFFS' Garden. It was released incomplete in 2007 at full price with only 2 routes and no music or gallery mode. It took them until 2008 to release a patch to add the 3rd route and 2009 for the 4th. There was still another route in production but they announced that they were formally dropping all work on it in 2013.
Despite all this shit, CUFFS is still releasing games and they even have an upcoming game so they clearly aren't dead yet.

Buy decent gaming pc.
Otherwise there's nothing to be done, AGE uses its own VM to execute game scripts (including gameplay stuff), and it doesn't have any kind of JIT. So if it peaks your CPU, only solution is to get better CPU.

Due to the request of some anons in the VN translation thread, I am uploading the current version (1.05) of "The Abaddon Princess in the Corrupt World" (http://vndb.org/v13066).).

It's an Ero/Horror RPG game which has recently picked up to be translated. The game features both PC-98 style CGs and regular CGs. Warning: the game also features BL routes, which can be blocked in the options.

The only version around is 1.00 and several errors have been corrected, some parts have been slightly modified and some extra content has been added. There are no patches on the official site of the game, so the only way to get an updated game is by re-downloading it.

The game is around 300 MB and Japanese locale is needed to run it properly (Applocale won't do the trick).

It is a ZIP file divided with Hjsplit.

I didn't expect much from this since people always complain about the tits, but so far it's the best moege I've played in a few months.
I thought Ouka was going to be the worst heroine, but she turned out my favorite(maybe playing the other routes will change it, but I don't think so), even though she has the biggest balloons.
I just hope the other routes don't have any drama, and solve the whole magician thing quickly like this one.
