Yikes, if M3 is anything to go by then denpa is really down the shitter as of late. It's more like a factory of churned out moe-pop with weak 'loli' themes than denpa.

Honestly I don't dislike moepop and I'm very open about it, but yeah it seems like recent releases are getting a bit outside of the denpa zone. But that's almost always the case with M3, usually better material comes with Comiket.

That, and besides the doujin scene is mostly covered by nicodouga singers now. I try to find stuff elsewhere, there's some good stuff around.

A little bit of everything from lack of knowledge, plain obscurity, or just due to the fact many are too old and most likely next to impossible to acquire. Sure, many of the uploads recently is hard to consider as denpa with the whole definition being twisted left and right and inching closer and closer to the moe pop boundary, but hey, I'm only here to download shit that hits my ears right and occasionally listen to whatever links are posted in these threads.

That said, maybe if you bump the thread with songs, preferably something that hasn't been posted before or in a long time, you might start up a discussion of some sort or turn thread to good ol' tru denpa shitflinging.

Yeah, old stuff is obscure even in the Japanese scene. The denpa bot list is getting huge though, I might dedicate some hours to give it a full sweep to see if I find something interesting. I used to find some old and/or obscure works with PD and Share but I haven't been able to find anything lately.

The new stuff I can just buy myself, but the older stuff, even just a few years back, is hard to find in Japan, let alone the difficulty in living overseas. I would personally be much happier to see it uncovered by someone else.

Yesterday there was an audition on NND for the Yukiko-tan characters unit and Nanahira (NND), Koko (NND) and Chiyoko (IOSYS/jk girls) went there, but they all had their faces covered. What the fuck? I was expecting to see them. Why are they so worried about covering their faces? I've heard they don't even let people take pictures at live events.

By the way Koko won and Nanahira and Chiyoko lost in their respective characters. Koko was about to cry, it was cute.
