Finished Rectal Merge. I found three of the heroines quite boring. Elulu was kinda cute, and Molly's route was interesting, albeit too drawn out, but their routes didn't leave any lasting impressions on me either. I wouldn't call it a waste of time, but it didn't feel like anything special to me.

The only strong feeling I had is that I'd love to see a Banshee route, she was awesome in what little screentime she had. But I guess characters like her are not emotionally immature and vulnerable enough to get one.

I like new Elf better than old Elf. Their newer games have something special which no other company can offer. But all that doesn't explain it very well. It's just a vibe thing, I guess. You always ask yourself what horrible disaster awaits you next. I also like the economical use of bgm. Really adds to the atmosphere.

Finished Eiri's route in ひこうきぐもの向う側. I tried to hold it in but that last scene in the epilogue made me cry like a bitch. Eiri for heroine of the year.
There's still Risa left, but I would be pleasantly surprised if her route tops Eiri's route, especially that epilogue.

Well sadly only Eiri is great at Hikoukigumo, the other heroines cant even get near of her level. But it was a pretty fun ride, most likely best moege of 2014 so far.

It's clear that Eiri is a cut above the rest, but the other girls and the supporting characters aren't too bad either. I like how they had their own flaws and issues, and that their characters are fairly developed by resolving said flaws. Mina is really cute, and Risa is unexpectedly strong will for her character type.

It's just that the author probably intended Eiri to be the main route since that's where most of the characters get their development, so Eiri (both in route and personality) comes out superior.

What i liked about the game was the "unexpected main heroine" thing.I was pretty sure that Risa or Mina will be main heroine,but story turned suddenly and made eiri main heroine which is pretty cool and unexpected for someone who didnt read anything about the game.
