Well, see. I like the interpretation that Mokou was always an albino and so she was kept out of sight by her father and that's why she wanted to kill Kaguya, to let him accept her finally.

What you have to realize is the entire reason we like one or the other comes from their rivalry, their eternal struggle against the futility of killing an immortal and, perhaps, even the pursuit of death and the rest it would bring them.

While you may find yourself more enamored with the exploits of one side or another, if you can't see that their fight and their hatred is an integral trait to both of their characters, then you don't deserve to be a fan of either of them.

So, Anon. Cheer for your Mokou. Cheer for your Kaguya.
