Hello all Otaku Culture residents.
I'm a Japanese (high school student).
Other day, I did find this site, and feel weird because there is strange Ascii art in top page of this site.
And the board name is not easy to understand about what theme is treated.
I think "This is wall to stranger?"
And if I could understand boards theme, still I don't understand that whether this site is only talk about boards theme or you all have some purpose about talk which be done here?

It does not make any sense at all.

Man, I love how they are all in chanbara and then suddenly everyone stops when they pull out the seal, so uncanny.

I know this is a long shot, but I guess this is a good place as any to ask to see if anyone knows the jidai geki I am talking about.

I was in Japan, I can't even remember exactly when but probably between 2000-2004,2005-ish
I have for a long time liked Jidai Geki and was watching it whenever it was on local TV stations.

Anyways, I caught the end, of one samurai drama, like the last 2 minutes of it while flipping through the channels, and it had a group of men in white hakama + haori that were doing prep for seppuku, the group of men was hmm.. about 12 or 20? They were inside a building (with shoji doors, etc). Then a man, or men saw them moving out of the room and started crying (presumably because they were about to go commit seppuku), it was all very emotional and very moving.

I have wished for a long time to re-watch that scene or to even watch the whole episode/season, but I don't know the name of it.

And even though I watched this in early 2000s, it might have been from the 90s (due to the video quality [my guess]) and just maybe 80s, however I think it was either 2000s or 90s.

Any chance in hell anyone knows what I am talking about? I know it is extremely little to go on, but just maybe....
