To be honest, you can propably get everything in 350 hours if you stay focused the whole time. Even less, if you don't bother getting ultimate weapons or artifacts for every character.

Also, if you are a dirty cheating bitch, you can use the deadbeat dungeon, which should make things even faster.

To maintain my sanity, I was usually watching my backlog of eroanime (older ones with an actual plot) or defcon videos from youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2g9lgYrYJM)), while grinding for levels/weapon proficiency/money/items. Due to the nature of the game, grinding takes relatively little attention.
