Anyone familiar with the kirikiri (v2) sigs?

TL in process of TLing here and it turns out the the game is missing some voice files. Not in the sense that 'the character wasn't voiced' (Sekien no Inganock), but in 'this voice file is blatantly incorrect'. It looks like what happened is the line before it was split out incorrectly and overwrote the other voice file that was suppose to be there.

So, we're trying to verify that the copy of the game we have is correct (as in the signature of the data and voice files match what the company published and so this would be a genuine mistake), but both TL and hacker aren't familiar with how to verify the signatures. Anyone able to lend a hand?

First, I don't understand why you would even need a 'hacker' if the engine's kirikiri. What does he do? Download the tools and then double click them?

I couldn't say, I didn't do it. What I can see are .ks text files, which where somehow pulled from a data.xp3 file.

This is process of elimination, the particular line is in the middle of one of the girl's major plot-related scene and we'd like to avoid cutting it if possible. If there isn't something wrong with the file then it's an honest mistake by the publisher and we'll just have to live with it.

I played it on 3DS. In fact, I actually bought a 3DS solely for that game. I heard the control scheme was utter shit on Vita so I avoided it.

Unfortunately, the 3DS version contains several game-crashing bugs (painful when you forget to save for several hours) and a fatal save-corrupting bug. It also has the downside of containing only one save slot, whereas I hear the Vita version has three(?) Having Alice's tits swing around in your face in 3D is nice and all, but you'd best save yourself the frustration and get it on Vita.

I believe it. I've been playing through The Guided Fate Paradox recently, and the translation varies between being hyper literal and awkward, and taking liberties so extreme as to border on mistranslation. And in fact, there are an embarrassing number of outright errors as well. It's a shame, because it's a rather nice game that deserves better.

People like to complain about the state of VN fan translations, and for good reason, but frankly a lot of professional translations are no better, especially when it comes to more niche titles with small localization budgets.

By the standards you have set down, which are "has a port, has a fandisk, once had a brief radio show, and had a brief manga" then nearly fucking everything is a 'big' franchise. Baldr Force is twice as large of a 'franchise' by your definition. Not the Baldr series. Just Baldr Force.

Will Otome games sell on PC?

Will Otome games sell on PC when the only place one can order them is on a site alongside classy titles like Ultimate Boob Wars and Suck my Dick or Die?

I mean, with BL games the fanbase for them is either rotten enough not to care about such things, or literal faggots who would probably not be bothered, but I dunno if I'd bet on (probably all-ages) otome games.

Where the hell would they even get otome games anyway? Circus?

They're already off to a poor start. They've been hyping for years the possibility of getting into the BL game at cons, but they've done jack all for otome games. Most of the otome game market seems to be on smartphones too.

The only way I can see it working out is if they launch that shit on steam(most otome games are all ages), keep it far away from their site, and pray.

There's more formats than Standard, and even within Standard, cards can change entirely depending on context. Nightveil Specter was a $0.50 unplayable shit card due to requiring three colored mana for a simple 2/3 flyer with an ability that doesn't do much in most contexts. Since the release of Theros, however, it's been clearly in the faceraping truck category due to how well it works with devotion.
