Haven't read Unison Shift's other titles but at least the Ley-Line games were really easy. The second one is also really great. Can't wait for them to announce the end of trilogy.

Finished LC2 (bar the appends). Overall I really liked it, lots of interactions with the girls and a whole month of purely icha icha stuff coupled with an almost total lack of drama and some really well done scenes here and there, also hot sex scenes for this kind of game.
My ranking overall probably goes Hime>Seine=Wakoto>Hinata. I didn't think I'd like Seine so much, her personality and general character were quite unexpected and so is how her route deals with it, I'd like to see a character like her in a more serious charage, could be great.
Wakoto wins best faces though, she was hilarious for the most part.

I started playing Chusingura. So far this is the most interesting vn I have played in Japanese, but samurai vocabulary and complicated names give me trouble.

Finished Lovely Quest.
I really disliked the MC. He never did anything that really made him win the girls' love, always having everything handed to him(childhood friend, imouto, the club). I do realize a lot of MCs don't deserve what they get, but I just can't sympathize with a guy that proposes to someone that has loved him for years and plays it off as a joke.
Another thing I disliked was the art. Though the naked bodies were pretty nice, the faces were really strange.
Aino, Minaho and Ayaka's routes were below average(mainly because of too much drama+sex and too little moe), with Hami's being the best, as expected, and Iroha's being a nice surprise.

The game did have a good point though, it made me realize the beauty of a good Japanese wife that just wants to devote herself to her husband. On that note, do you guys have any recommendations for novels with a Yamato Nadeshiko character(not only in looks)?

Anyone tried playing recent VNs on a netbook/tablet with an Atom processor? Is the performance okay? I can't imagine most VNs being terribly demanding, but considering Japanese programming, I figured I'd ask.

Yeah Yumiko route was really bad, it's like they were really pushing her up as a true heroine or something. Not only she comes last unavoidably - she even don't have a real bad ending - just a good and a true ones. Almost all the route events happened save for epilogues. Yuuji canonically had sex with all of them and the girls are pretty content with the harem set-up. The game starts with Yuuji being interviewed by Yuria while the girls accidentally find his scrapped notes that he wrote for the interview and most of the Grand Route is flashbacks from Yuuji's past.

All the other content such as After Stories and extra joke / H-scenes are non-canon and can be skipped, though they're still a fun read if you liked the characters.

After taking a pretty long break, I finally went back and finished Hanene's route in Tenshi no Hane. This definitely isn't on par with the other shumon games I've read, but it was still quite decent. It felt like this ending could have been stretched out a little more, but it could have been a lot worse. I guess I'll be doing Ikoi's route next.

Yesterday I read that Phenomeno visual novel adaptation by Nitro+ (didn't read anything for a long time because of some school shit so I wanted something short for some training). I really liked it. I'm totally buying the original light novel next time I go to Yamato land.

Also started with Axanael. Glorious so far.

I think the reason why Eustia while being generally considered a great game is almost never mentioned as a kamige is because, borrowing from the RPG system, if a kamige has 100 in 1 or 2 stats and 70 in the rest, Eustia would have 85 in everything.
This means that while it doesn't have any major flaws(the biggest would probably be people disliking Eustia) and does everything pretty well, it doesn't have anything that makes it stand out. Even without anything like that, it's still my favorite VN, and a great read.

I liked Eris all the way through. She is probably the character who developed the most throughout the story, and she turned out great at the end.

What can you say about Hapymaher and Izuna Zanshinken? Can't choose which one of them to read next. Finished Koharu's route in WA2. I know people talk about the characters being rage inducing, and damn they weren't exaggerating. It is bad enough having Haruki spending most of the VN being self-loathing, but then having the heroine join in too makes things pretty infuriating. I'm hoping that only Koharu will be like that, since the others don't have any people they seem to be betraying or connections to Setsuna to make them feel worse. Going to do Mari's route next, it should hopefully be a new experience as it will be the first full route I've read with a proper age gap between the characters (at least where the women is the older one...). Please tell me not all routes will have the main characters hating themselves for most of it.

The H scenes felt a bit too consecutive. It spends a white with nothing, then they all happen over the course of 1 week. I can understand why for plot reasons, of course, but didn't care to read them so soon after one another. At least they felt like they actually added to the plot, and are not just thrown in for the sake of a H scene.

Still, the route was enjoyable at least, especially at the end where they pulled themselves together and Haruki returned to his normal self. And while the ending wasn't the happiest possible outcome, it was fairly nice with a "showing good promise for the future" thing.

And damn, despite how she seems Setsuna is pretty malicious. She knows being nice to Haruki hurts him, yet she goes out of her way to be as nice as she can, especially when he is doing things that hurt her. And fills what she says with little attacks at him, but makes sure it isn't to the extent that Haruki feels like she is being nasty. Of course, what Haruki has done to her and continues doing to her is pretty bad, but in the end she just makes things worse for herself, too.

Chitose's route is probably the best of the 3 main routes, though those three are by far the least interesting in the game. Shirayuki's has a lot of fluff but a strong ending, and Luna's is great all the way through.

Mainly finished playing the IMM trial. That was too short need more. Well still need to get the bottom of trial dungeon.
But so far so good, the new look of battle system is nice although it takes bit gettin used to after the old one. Don't know if I like some of the small changes they did but the new elements were welcome atleast. OST sounds nice too with remix of some of the old tracks and new stuff I think.

I played the game, it's already dated.
The battle animations are jerky and the game interface is unintuitive as fuck.
Like if you make a unit defend he goes on defend stance indefinitely, to cancel it you have to bring up the system menu.

If they remake this game and upgrade it with Kamidori's interface it would be a kamige of all kamige.
