It'll take place in the real world, so they can have buildings blowing up and shit.
Rinnosuke will be the protagonist, with Reimu as the love interest/danmaku mentor.
All the full youkai will be out and out evil monsters.
Basic plot will be similar to EoSD. Remi wants to block out sun, mist kills humans, Rinnosuke is the super special chosen one with hidden powers that Reimu takes under her wing to train. She gets offed by Sakuya just as the training is nearly complete, Rinnosuke goes all revenge mode. He finds out along the way that Remi was actually the one who had his parents killed all those years ago. Takes down SDM crew, final shot of the movie is him standing amongst the ruins of the mansion staring up at the sun in the slowly clearing sky.
Post credits stinger show sun transform into Okuu's little chest-eye symbol thing.

Some really generic plot that only involves the most popular characters. Reimu's donation box is missing and now she of course goes to the SDM since that's where all the popular characters are. Marisa is with her of course. Naturally Reimu must fight Flandre there and there will be some interaction between Flandre and Marisa afterwards to please all the FlanXMarisa shippers. Youmu and Yuyuko are also somewhere doing nothing of importance and the main culprit was Yukari who did it because she was bored. Cameos are used heavily throughout the movie and tons of characters already appear in the opening crawl. When Reimu thinks about where her donation box might be, she thinks about various places and the camera always cuts away to show those characters doing something. Mima is the only old character to get a cameo and the ending implies that there will be a sequel that involves her. It will of course never be made.

Hollywood sets it in Los Angeles, and makes all of the characters white girls, except for Reimu who will be played by Michael Cera. And maybe Yuyuko, who will be a jive-talking token minority character. The film will be a dark and gritty re-imagining, where Reimu solves all of her problems with danmaku, except in this case, danmaku are literal bullets and also the regular kind.

The Animu shown at that one con was so exclusive club that I really doubt this would come into fruition.

Pixars Hisoutensoku would be pretty neat. Picture related could be interesting too.
