Well, you're looking at the VN segment of the market.

This is a market that caters to, generally, guys who have spent their lives being rejected by attractive girls, sometimes in cruel ways.

Thus the Elf Rape Fantasy genre is strongly expressed here for one strong reason.

Dehumanization. Elves are a creature like human, but not human. They are physically attractive but conceited, not understood by humans, and implicitly should not be treated "as human".
