The industry is doing fine regardless of localization. While CR's issue is not the same as game localization, it boils down to a similar issue which is ultimately making things more accessible to people. For localizations that are equally silly we can look at something like 4Kids, or most syndicated anime. One particular franchise was chopped and screwed so bad it became it's own franchise, Robotech.

I understand this is a very elitist position, but I firmly believe that the best things should be kept secret. Trying to make a buck by covering up some loli nipples to appease an ignorant bunch is stupid.
