Okay /jp/ Kantai Collection

I know nothing about it, I know it's the new fad but I haven't visited /jp/ in over a year. Now with all the C85 doujins featuring countless characters I don't know squat about I'm here to learn.

Any link where I can learn about it? I get it's some sort of TCG is there a translation? I remember the new fad on the block was Puzzle & Dragons like a year ago? I played it a bit on my mobile phone and it was sort of fun but still pretty boring after like a week.

So /jp/ tell me about these battleship girls.

Oh yeah also since it's a TCG does it even have a story or is it just all fanmadeup?

These manbabies playing it only because the attacking ships are anthropomorphized as little girls with guns. That's even worse than being normal and playing casual games. I bet this game is selling - like all bad MMO-games - special items for money and these pedophiles are literally throwing their assets aways.
Can't wait when their remorse starts to kick in for all that time and money they've wasted for a lousy browser game.

The wikipedia article has an overview, but in short, it's a browser grinding and collection game where all the characters are the personifications of WWII-era ships. No trading, no multiplayer worth talking about.
