I'm reading Borges' Aleph right now. Very fascinating!! Good escapism!!

I only found out about /lit/ because warosu archived it.

It appears they have NEET threads on a semi regular basis, they call it the ``Literary lifestyle''.

They are not universally accepted there but I think its interesting that it could be considered slightly more socially acceptable compared to /jp/'s activities. Being a very well read person kind of gives off a romantic view in my eyes. When I become a NEET I would like to read more books among many other things I simply don't have time for now.

I frequent those threads. They are indeed very different than /jp/'s NEET threads. A lot of people on /lit/, myself included, have fantasized about publishing some books and living a relaxing life off of the royalties. Of course, that is really unfeasible and we're all really untalented, so we compromise by getting arts degrees and then skipping all our classes or finding jobs that aren't too deadening or demanding. Things like autismbux are frowned upon.
