Marisa is way easier whenever you fight her, be it TH8 or the fighting games, most of her attacks are just spinning bullets which is the easiest pattern.

Her low speed and homing attacks make her much easier to use than Marisa.
Besides, aside from that one spellcard, Reimu is easier to beat in TH8.

Nah, Reimu has Fantasy Heaven in the Last Word and homing and Marisa just has spinning bullets + her master spark which is even easier as it's just a big laser rather than a constant stream of tiny bullets. She's also way easier in the fighting game's story mode since her bullets have extremely low priority (i.e: can be destroyed with almost anything). As a bonus Marisa is also easier than Reimu in Shuushou Gyoku

That made me think that there should be some sort of touhou doujin video game where you play as a dude trying to court Reimu, but you must first defeat every other touhou character that also loves Reimu. So you battle them in different kinds of matches, according to the person you're facing. Like the battle against Marisa would be a tactical espionage mission seeing who could steal the most shit from SDM.
