Sounds like they cobbled together a piece of shit, marked it up 10,000% and branded it with their garbage franchise so idiots would buy it. Basic Alienware stuff.

How is an orbweaver "otaku", a lot of guildes of mine use peripherals like that and almost none of them fit the definition of otaku.

>>11712576
It's not bad, mechanical keys and very easy macros make it pretty useful for MMOs. No idea about FPSes but it has more functionality than a standard mechanical keyboard if you're only using like 20 or so keys.

Mechanical keyboards feel a lot nicer to me and they don't break like rubberdome keyboards eventually do. However, I'd never touch Razor shit. Filco and old IBM mechanical keyboards are great.

Blues are for typing, you're bottoming out for gaming anyway so less actuation force is better for doubletaps/mashing.

>>11712595
I'm not trying to argue against mech keyboards. But configuring macros for a standard keyboard is different than say an orbweaver where ergonomics plays a big role in how many keys you can reliably get to. I've raided both ways and peripherals like the orbweaver are a nice quality of life improvement. If I could only have one i'd rather just have a mech keyboard but it's not a terrible purchase if you play MMOs.

Actually
>>11712601 is telling the truth. You don't need to bottom out mechanical keyboard and the weights needed to actuate the keys are usually less than a membrane keyboard.

A while back after I had been using a mechanical keyboard for a few years I by chance had to use a computer that had a membrane keyboard. It felt horrible. Not because the keys felt gummy, but because I couldn't easily press down the keys. It seemed like only every three or four keys registered.
