i really hate the "cirno is an idiot" and "cirno is weak" memes.

honestly shes not stupid, just a bit childish. Shes just impulsive and very carefree which can lead to idiot like appearences, however she tends to succeed at pretty much anything she puts in enough effort to to see through the end.


Cirno being weak is also hilariously wrong. In terms of raw power she should be really high on the scale. Marisa notes in her grimoire that cirnos attacks are frighteningly powerful and that pretty much the only reason they dont wreck everyones shit is because cirno doesnt really understand tactics. Not to mention shes beaten Yuuka (whos on the god tier end of the power list), Marisa twice, and many others - and yes its canon, not fanon.

Pretty much cirno right now is still young compared to most of the rest of gensokyo and i believe fairys age and mature at a different level than humans. She acts like a child, because for her race, she still pretty much is. When she matures out though she has the potential to be a major player in gensokyo and probably cause at least 1 large incident if she wills it.

I hate how she got hijacked by secondaries and has turned into the butt of every joke. She really is a wonderful character.

i've always had an idea to make a game or a story where the fairy's find a book detailing modern squad based tactics and infantry management. Actually learn it, and take over large portions of gensokyo.

Everyone writes the fairies off as weak, but in truth they have some crazy abilitys - they just lack origination. They could get away with some amazing things if they started a true great fairy war.

too bad im shit at programming and dont really write fan fiction. Im learning ruby slowly so maybe it will happen one of these years...

Im still sticking by what i said earlier though. When Cirno matures a bit and learns how to control her own strength, her pulling off a never ending winter would be easy. Its also cannon she can freeze danamku which would cause some major problems for whoever planned on stopping that incident.

Honestly the fact that shes so immature is the only way shes actually balanced. Any time I think about her abilities I realize that she could be just about as broken a character as Reimu and Yukari if she realized how to use them to their potential.

People really do go overboard with disliking Cirno. I mean it's fine if she's not your taste, but it doesn't mean you have to call her weak and shit. I like to think of her sort of like kid Gohan.

I don't like powerlevel discussions though, that's just my Touhou-DBZ comparison. At the end of the day though, I like Cirno. I won't let other people change that.

So, like, 15mph winds on a day with a high temperature of 60F and the person has no clothing. Amazing, Cirno is top tier super saiyan 34 powerlevel 2hu.
