My /jp/ folder is probably my favorite image folder I have out of my vast collection of folders.
But no mere single image can do it justice. It's unique selection of "Otaku Culture" pictures, /jp/ culture pictures, and pictures placed in the folder ironically all come betwixt one another to form a truly unique and oddly pleasing image folder. One that is also quite hilarious when properly viewed.

To properly enjoy it, one must see the entire folder itself.
I'm too lazy right now to archive and upload it though, so please enjoy this random image I selected.

The crowd cheered and the biker rolled away as the other biker pulled out a shotgun from his jacket and started firing at Jazzhorse. Jazzhorse used his saxophone to deflect the bullets and runned over the the biker, where he kick him in the face with his hoof and the biker fell to the ground dead.

But just when Jazzhorse thought to rampage had ended the biker got back up again and ripped off his jacket, revealing him to be a bear. The biker bear said to Jazzhorse "Today you will know my pain" and roared as he punched at Jazzhorse, sending him flying backwards into the crowd of people. But then a little girl came out of the crowd and to Jazzhorse and said "I believe in you, Jazzhorse". The believes of the crowd were enough to give Jazzhorse enough strength to get back up and with his saxophone he started to fight the biker bear, who was big and strong. But then biker bear suddenly blew fire at Jazzhorse's saxophone, melting it to the ground in a puddle, forcing Jazzhorse to use his fists of fury to punch the biker bear in the face. The biker bear said "You cannot win" and slashed at Jazzhorse, but Jazzhorse was strong and said "You are not today" and instantly punched the biker bear in the jaw, sending him through the roof while he said "nooooooo". The crowd cheered for Jazzhorse but then noticed his saxophone was melted in a puddle. But then the little girl came out of the crowd and said "Do not worry Jazzhorse, I have an idea". So Jazzhorse used the little girl as a saxophone and played for the crowd, and the night was happy.

the thing I miss most about old /jp/ is that guy who would always post big titty anime girls. being split off from /a/ really upset me so it made the new place feel more homey. new anime screencap poster just isn't the same.

There is no /vg/ culture. Each general is like a mini board and none of them really much in common with the others.

There are generals dedicated exclusively to shitposting and generals that actually discuss things on topic.

Board elitism is dumb and a lot of /jp/ stuff was moved to /vg/ so it's not unusual to find a jaypee on generals like the VN, Violated Heroine, Hentai game general, etc.

Exactly what I had but now it is basically a pixiv/2hu folder. The more recent stuff is really organized while the stuff from way back is a fucking mess and I rarely look at it. Threads like these make me take a look just for nostalgic value. I should just 7z everything before 2010 or something.

I miss having extended down time/DDoS attacks. I don't remember if there was a ghost board at that time but I'm glad there is one now.

I remember before /jp/, I asked which anime this character was from. They told me that she was Meimu, an alternate, fan based character of a character of a japanese game.
They told me that she was kind and forgiving in contrast with Reimu's agresive and unmerciful character.

That was my first memory of touhou. That Reimu was someone not very nice.
