You poured that beer into the glass too fast Anon, look it's over flowing. If it gets on your vintage retro computer rhe computer will get all sticky and it might even break. You should be more careful in the future.

He clearly didn't pour it right, either. Straight into the glass rather than down the sides. What a PLEB.

I want a modern mechanical keyboard without a super key. They don't seem to make them anymore at all though.

Only ones I can find that look decent are IBM model Ms but I kind of don't want a keyboard that giant and ancient, or with buckling springs.

I used an IBM thinkpad without a super key for a while and liked it A LOT more. The ctrl and alt keys are bigger, and placed together. Because of that keybinds with ctrl and alt are much easier and more comfortable, which I prefer. The super key is just small and annoying really, I don't need three keys, just want two big ones there placed toghether. I've been using ctrl-shift as a replacement.

>>11627808
You can rebind it to any key.

>>11627830
I know, what the fug.

>> No.11627852

>>11627840
The point of a Super key is that you make it your Compose key or do some miscellaneous task like handle your window manager. That stupid context menu key should die first.

Although, I like EU keyboards because the Ctrl, Alt, and Backspace keys are usually nice and wide. On a lot of US keyboards I've seen, they're the same size as regular keys. And I need my fucking huge Return key. I don't know how I'd live with that single-line one most US keyboards have.

>> No.11627869

Long backspace and long enter are correct. Most modern mechs don't have context menu key anymore. Tall enter is stupid.

>> No.11627921

>>11627852

Now that's the kind of tower I want, but I can't find any good, horizontally-oriented towers like that. I'd love one to put in my media cabinet versus having it take up space on my desk.
