So what I want to know is, why is /jp/ so damn slow? Is this the slowest board on 4chan? Because right now there's a post like every 2-3 minutes.

>> No.11625862

it's faster than usual since nuj took over

i mean it's not moving backwards at least

>> No.11625864

I'm actually too scared to post.

Even posting ITT is scary. What if I get banned just so the janitor can prove a point? What if he bans me because I'm saying this?

Nice work, OP. You got me banned. I'm going to haunt you.

I don't think you'll get banned for that, the guy who posts anime on a whim doesn't get banned and is allowed to speak his mind to give you an example.

if you think /jp/ is the slowest board on 4chan you should check out /i/. there's a 2 year old thread on that board right now.

On /jp/ you feel like you're in a concentration camp ran by a madman that gave you a list of things to do but they're in korean so you don't understand them. But you know if you don't do SOMETHING then you be worse off so you carefully and casually try things to see if thats okay.

Then *BLAM* the guy that was doing the same thing as you to your left gets shot through the head with a rifle and angry muffled korean can be heard through a loudspeaker. So you try again with something that was okay yesterday, only to see another guy get killed for it.

Other boards also have maybe one or two janitors while /jp/ obviously has more because they're normals but are also watching the board 24/7. Other boards are able to discuss things and come up with fresh ideas while /jp/ is essentially stunted to some period in 2012.

Old posters left and new posters are turned away.

>> No.11625913

I think /3/ is still the slowest board. /jp/ is better off slow. I hate all the fast boards, full of their shit and pushing off threads in minutes. I wish /jp/ was as slow and easy going as when it was first made.

People don't go away because they're scared, they go away because there's nothing interesting to reply to.

Keep metashitposting, and soon there'll be no-one but retards like you around. Or rather, there woudn't be if your threads didn't 404 fast enough, like this one soon will.

If you want slow Touhou check out Pooshlmer. There is an imagedump thread from 2011 that is still alive even after not being bumped for over 8 months at one point. Even those constantly necrobumped Idolmaster threads stay alive for 2 months at most on /jp/.

There is a lot of people on /jp/ because it is a secret club, but not many that post. Otaku are taking it easy.

In the beginning I though there was, like, three anons on /jp/. But there's a lot more! They are just shy and don't talk. It's cute on its own way.

And then the other reason is that mostly, they are too lazy to answer immediately like in /a/ and prefer it like that. /jp/ is a lot like Groundhog Day, it's always the same thing, again and again and again. It's an island of repetition in a sea of movement. Just seeing the repetition is enough to comfort an Otaku heart, and the easier way to ensure absolute repetition is to do nothing new, you see?

From time to time, there is a 'new' thread. It can have as much as one hundred answer in five minutes. /jp/ doesn't like them, mostly, so it tries very hard to prevent that.
