The /jp/ version of >>>/adv/13264230 as suggested previously.

I'd love to hear how other people deal with life, and how we ended up where we are. Suggestions? Advice? Make some friends?

A few weeks ago I actually went back to being a shut-in. I've gone back to staying in bed all day, eating every other day, pissing in bottles and jugs, not shaving, not brushing my teeth, holding in my shits, ect. For whatever reason I've also become incredibly paranoid. The other day when I was falling asleep I heard a door shut and my heart started racing, causing me to be unable to sleep. All I could think was that people were going to come and knock on my door, or complain that I've been sleeping all day, ect. That's what caused me to give up in the first place. I recorded the argument and listening to it still makes me tremble. When I hear people moving around in the house and talking, I feel like I can do nothing other than hide under the blankets with ear plugs and hope I can't hear them. The other day I smuggled in a pot to use on the hot plate in my room so I could cook something a bit more substantial. Now I have access to beans and rice.

The thing is, I've become a lot less stressed. I was beginning to have trouble speaking when I decided to go into my room for a while, and the next day when I woke up I was able to speak normally, all twitches and other nervous symptoms were gone. I guess this is the best way for me to live. I just wish I were alone, though.

As for current problems, well, filled up my sixth gallon jug with piss today. I thought I'd do no more than two, but now I don't know how I'm going to empty all these. I'll probably put them in the closet or something.

Also for what it's worth, I was thinking of returning to school after eight years before the confrontation forced me back into my room. It's like all those eight years I spent slowly trying to get back to living a somewhat normal life have been for nothing. I've gone back to watching children's TV shows because they're comforting to me for some reason. I've gone back to playing video games from my childhood for the same reasons. Flash loops from 2005-2006 are what I've been listening to as well, for the exact same reasons. If I'm not surrounded by this stuff I get this really bad feeling of doom.

I have the misfortune of being somewhat of a 2nd generation shut-in. The male side of my family started importing video games from japan in 1984 when i was 5 since then i knew and seen not much else but days long gaming sessions, visiting import traders in their houses with boxes full of games in their roof's and eagerly awaiting the next console to drop in japan. While i dont think time can be spend much better than with what were into, i definetly feel like growing up with all that makes it so much harder to just stop and live a normie life, not that i would actually want that.

Yes, I worked for a year in retail, 6 months in manufacturing, and two days in "waste management"
>How long since I left the house
Not counting walking to the store for cigarettes? A week ago
>Likes and dislikes about being a NEET
Honestly it is pretty boring but comfortable, I think I became a NEET due to my own indecisiveness. Everyone around me has some clear goal about what they want to do with life and I just don't know what I want to do. I think the career "goals" are forced onto kids far to early in this country and that is why people like me have such a negative reaction to that.
>means of defense
Oh my yes, very much so.

I don't ask for money because food and internet is more than enough to ask

Once, programming. It fucking sucked.

I'm not a hiki so I leave my room at least once a day; I left my house last week to buy groceries

None. I saved up a lot of money before moving here, and now I work in a restaurant cleaning up bowls and entertaining guests
>• Have you ever been employed, doing what?
I am currently, but before moving, no.
>• Do you have phimosis?
I haven't seen a doctor who spoke english well enough to pronounce that word in a while, so even if I did, I couldn't tell you.

About ten minutes.
>• What do you like or don't like about NEET life, are you happy with it?
I'm not NEET, but when I was, it was the most peaceful thing in the world. It's what everyone aspires to do one day when they're old and wrinkly.

Okay point taken. However, what is the point of this board as a whole? If we look at the catalog we see anime and manga with a mix of random content, so the same shit that is on /a/...so where does that leave this board? Is this not the board for discussing Japanese culture? Is being a NEET not part of Japanese culture?!

NEET threads were always a part of /jp/, even before they were added to the rules.

They were removed because a petty, autistic, and literally jewish janitor named MQr on /q/ decided to delete them, despite them being allowed in the rules.

He may have not even been a /jp/ janitor in the first place, most evidence pointed out to /lgbt/ if I remember correctly.
